“Let us get up early to the vineyards; let us see if the vine flourish, whether the tender grape appear, and the pomegranates bud forth: there will I give thee my loves.”
– Song of Songs 7:12

Some good street work today talking to people about Jesus Christ. His grace and mercy. His cross and redemption. It went well. They were open and attentive. They understood and welcomed the witness.
Nice interview with the police today. Three bicycle cops. I told them I love you (in Jesus Christ) and pray God keeps them safe. We talked about the teenagers on illegal motor bikes. And their high speeds and weaving through traffic. They know. But said “there’s nothing we can do. By the time we get there they are gone. But we did catch 4 last week.”
I talked to them about Jesus Christ and street preaching. They’re fine with it. This was the South Side. We agreed people need God.
I told them I was arrested down town last week. They couldn’t believe it. I told them if it’s not 50′ it’s not preaching. So we laughed. But I let them know we will be seeing each other again. I hope it turns out alright. But the Gospel must go forth. Jesus is that good.
