If you know that his death and ours mean our spirit is free of our body, then everything changes. Jesus dispersed his body, and he appeared after that by materializing his spirit. No physical body goes into the spirit realm. That ends the speculation about the rapture and bodies rising from the dead out of graves.

Yes, there has always been a belief in the in gathering of the saints to reign and rule on the earth under the Lordship of Christ, but the dispensational idea that we go to heaven for seven years while the rest of the world suffers here is in fact a fairly new belief.

It will happen but it is at the last trumpet which is His Second Coming. . Jesus mentioned the last trumpet proceeding His gathering of His elect in Matthew 24:30,31. Paul mentions the last trumpet in 1 Corinthians. It’s never been Pre Trib, it has always been the Second Coming. Why would Jesus say your salvation draws near during the tribulation if you had already been raptured? Luke 21:28. Study folks!

It seems to me that those who believe in the rapture walk around with a doomsday mentality, always talking about how bad things are getting, when in historical reality they are actually getting better. We live longer, people have more money, the world is safe for, More people live in houses, more people are educated, more people have safe water, and we have greater ways to travel.
