Rick Joyner is a not a prophetic voice that I would trust for any major decision to happen in my life. Too many misses.

Yup most NAR is false prophecy – I don’t know if they deserve to be stoned or ignored

Troy Day [02/10/2016 8:23 AM]
NAR holds the false post-mil theology of political church involvement http://www.pentecostaltheology.com/new-combined-topic-on-nar/

Peter A Vandever [02/10/2016 8:24 AM]
Most people in the prophetic movement is pre-mil post-trib

Troy Day [02/10/2016 8:25 AM]
ARE ASSEMBLIES OF GOD ALSO A PART OF THE NEW APOSTOLIC REFORMATION (NAR) MOVEMENT? http://www.pentecostaltheology.com/are-assemblies-of-god-churches-part-of-the-new-apostolic-reformation-nar-movement/

Stan Wayne [02/10/2016 8:28 AM]
No that is silly – although there are always fringe people

Stan Wayne [02/10/2016 8:29 AM]
A/G is pre trib and dispensational – as I am

Peter A Vandever [02/10/2016 8:29 AM]
Also what is and isnt NAR? That is a moving target for a question.

Stan Wayne [02/10/2016 8:31 AM]
The concept of apostles over other ministers is one essential that A/G rejects – as do I – apostle is merely the original term for a missionary church planter

Troy Day [02/10/2016 8:33 AM]
This article cites Rick Joyner and Harvard theologian Harvey Cox as part of the Religious Right which upholds Charismatic Dominionism https://pjmiller.wordpress.com/2011/01/05/the-rise-of-charismatic-dominionism/ JOYNERis also a masonic member JESUIT KNIGHT OF MALTA. Nothing prophetic there https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OigB6rbtGEU

Peter A Vandever [02/10/2016 8:33 AM]
Pentecostals do not reject prophets. I do not think any Pentecostal would reject Ravenhill as a prophetic voice to his generation.

Stan Wayne [02/10/2016 8:35 AM]
We accept the gift of prophecy and the gift of apostle but do not believe they have authority over churches or ministers

Troy Day [02/10/2016 8:36 AM]
Stan Wayne Who cares about AG today? One cannot be Pentecostal believing the Holy Spirit worked all through history and at the same time limit the Holy Spirit to one dispensation. That would be a theological schizophrenia i.e. believing two opposing views. Dispensationalism just like sessionalism is a baptist teaching anyway http://www.pentecostaltheology.com/you-might-be-dispensationalist-if/

Peter A Vandever [02/10/2016 8:38 AM]
Btw, I find the position of the AG on Prophets to be hugely hypocritical…. like trump hugely lol

Stan Wayne [02/10/2016 8:39 AM]
I am dispensationalist – I am Pentecostal – perhaps the terms need defining

Terry Wiles [02/10/2016 9:39 AM]
NAR is false

Jerrod Buffington [02/10/2016 11:37 AM]
He does believe in the blessed hope he is just post mill.

John Kissinger [02/10/2016 11:38 AM]
so is iHOP – they are all postmil kingdom-now Charismatic Dominionism

John Kissinger [02/10/2016 11:58 AM]
New Apostolic Reformation and the Third Wave. Some of the articles below focus on the relationship of Sarah Palin to leaders in these movements. http://www.talk2action.org/story/2008/9/5/114652/6239

This is a shift from an originally passive theology in which believers are waiting to be Raptured from the earth prior and escape imminent apocalyptic horrors, to a politicized theology in which believers must take control over society and government. End times narratives provide a blueprint for activism much like a platform defines goals of a political party. The narratives provide a clear picture of what we can expect from this particular stream of evangelicalism as it gains both religious and political clout and molds tomorrow’s Religious Right.

Stan Wayne [02/10/2016 1:53 PM]
^^^ the blessed hope motivated to missions and evangelism and explains A/g and other Pentecostal missions efforts – the war cry was/is “Jesus is coming soon” and “maranatha”

I found Rick Joyner’s book “The Final Quest” to be a most fascinating and thought provoking read. Even if you denounced it’s claim to be a word of prophecy, or a prophetic vision, the message it contains is still very good.

John Kissinger [02/10/2016 9:07 PM]
the whole masonic jesut knight of malta connection remains under question

Michael Marquez [02/10/2016 9:22 PM]
We always need to test against the Word of God anything that claims to be from God. These days it seems what is suppose to be the Prophetic is really the Pathetic. Its not Prophesing but Prophalying.

John Kissinger [02/11/2016 6:59 AM]
The Church can live with pathetic. It is when the prophet becomes for profit when the real problems for the church begin

Barbara Shannon [02/11/2016 12:41 PM]
Kenneth Hagin states that we should listen to our inner voice or the Holy Spirit inside of us, not a prophet.

I only trust the prophetic Word of God and the guiding fellowship of the Holy Spirit and of course my wife. 🙂

It appears to me that they are all caught up in their own expanding vortex of faith. Accuracy of discernment and accountability from outside their own little field of vision appears to be virtually non-existant. If they were more humble and interacted on a wider Christian playing field then some -maybe even a lot- of what Joyner says and does would have value for the whole Body of Christ.

    Louise Cummings.

I was listening. Very good. Thank God for someone like you that had a heart for souls like you seem to have an heart for God will win souls. I pray you will. I had some one tell me years ago I need the book on one that Tick Joiner wrote. I don’t think I bought it. Because I don’t remember what it was about. What you said was good. But I didn’t realize all those others, was joining in that too.
