IS ANYTHING TOO HARD FOR THE LORD?

“Elisha sent a messenger to say to him, “Go, wash yourself seven times in the Jordan, and your flesh will be restored and you will be cleansed.” But Naaman went away angry and said, “I thought that he would surely come out to me and stand and call on the name of the LORD his God, wave his hand over the spot and cure me of my leprosy.” (2 Kin. 5:10-11) [“This was intended as a sign of Naaman’s cure, AND a test of his obedience. If we want a miracle from our Abba Father we must do as He says!] “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the LORD. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, SO ARE MY WAYS HIGHER THAN YOUR WAYS and my thoughts than your thoughts.” (Isa. 55:8-9) [What is the correct way for God to perform a miracle? Any way He chooses! ] “Then one of them [the angels that visited Abraham] said, “I will surely return to you about this time next year, and Sarah your wife will have a son.”…Sarah laughed to herself as she thought…Why did Sarah laugh and say, ‘Will I really have a child, now that I am old?’ IS ANYTHING TOO HARD FOR THE LORD? I will return to you at the appointed time next year, and Sarah will have a son.” (Gen. 18:10-14) [So, what happened in these two situations?] “So he [Naaman] went down and dipped himself in the Jordan seven times, as the man of God had told him, and his flesh was restored and BECAME CLEAN LIKE THAT OF A YOUNG BOY.” (2 Kin. 5:14) [And] “Sarah became pregnant and bore a son to Abraham in his old age, AT THE VERY TIME GOD HAD PROMISED HIM.” (Gen. 21:2) [When the disciples had problems with a healing, Jesus said:] “Because you have SO LITTLE FAITH. Truly I tell you, if you have faith AS SMALL AS A MUSTARD SEED, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. NOTHING WILL BE IMPOSSIBLE FOR YOU.” (Matt. 17:20) [Mustard seeds are usually about 1 mm in diameter which is one thousandth of an inch. It’s not about how big our faith is, it’s about how pure it is? Peter wanted to walk to Jesus on the water, Jesus said:] “Come,” he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!” Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “YOU OF LITTLE FAITH,” he said, “WHY DID YOU DOUBT?” (Matt. 14:29-31) [Jesus said:] “Everything is possible for one who believes.” Immediately the boy’s father exclaimed, “I do believe; HELP ME OVERCOME MY UNBELIEF!” (Mark 9:23-24)
