Any teaching which suggests that the Old Covenant is somehow still in effect is a denial of Christ and the New Covenant. No matter who teaches it.

Alan N Carla Smith, your comparison does not follow. The Holy Spirit was poured out at the beginning of the New Covenant, and the promise is for “all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.” Such is not the case for the Shemitah, which was given under the Law of Moses to the Hebrews only, Again, any teaching that says the Old Covenant is still in effect is a denial of Christ and the New Covenant He inaugurated.

John lots of theologians of Christian reconstruction, neonomianism, dominion theology, Kingdom Now, Social Gospel, NAR, etc. would strongly disagree with you. But if we exclude the 7x7yrs cycles, we basically have to exclude the chronology of the whole Creation and much more as Old Testamental (term coined for Rick Wadholm Jr ) So back to the original thought, is there any proof that the 7x7yrs cycles are extra-Biblical revelation b/c the way I read, they are in my Bible – please elaborate
