    Richard Cunningham stated

Demons cannot possess a true believer. A true believer belongs to Christ they do not have authority over anything that belongs to him . It is unbiblical and inconceivable that The Holy Spirit would allow one that Christ died for , the one who is a temple of the Holy Spirit , and one who belongs to the Lord to be inhabitated and controlled by a evil Spirit. If you are casting out demons you are casting them out of unbelievers and professors that really don’t belong to Christ . This type of false doctrine running rampant especially throughout Pentecostal and Baptist churches . Because of false teachers and preachers .

My questions is ONLY this – how does Richard Cunningham KNOW a true believer from a false believer?

Troy Day Scripture says the saints are known by their fruit.
However, it is possible to be deceived about someone. Many appear to belong but later depart, today’s trendy fad of “deconstruction.” They go out from among us for they were never of us.

So, to the best of our ability we can discern who believes.
As for demonic activity, Scripture presents no instruction to cast out demons. 2000 years ago it was practiced to authenticate Jesus as Messiah and the work of the Apostles.
Casting out demons is not exorcism, and exorcism is not biblical, it’s a tradition of men.

Demons are real, spiritual warfare is real, but there has been a plethora of false teaching on this matter since at least the 80s.

Troy Day the devil doesn’t own anybody Ezekiel 18:4 “All souls are mine.” People become demonized when oppressed by the devil. This can happen to believers and unbelievers alike. That is why Paul warned. “Neither give place to the devil.”

When a person is demonized he will say demons are not a real thing
