CKSb_O7VEAEMebNA Turn of the Page for the 714 Project:
Approximately 5 years ago the 714 Project was started. The whole point of this initiative was to help churches realize, once again, our unity in Christ. This was accomplished by inviting churches all throughout the Mobile area to come together to pray and worship. Over the past several years we have seen a shift regarding how churches and ministries view one another in the Mobile area. We’ve witnessed a transition from one of competition to one of being ‘kingdom-minded’ and ‘unified’. We believe this desire for the church to work in unison continues to grow stronger in our area. Praise God!

After much prayer and consideration, on the part of the 714 Project Board, we are all in agreement that the Lord has accomplished what He set out to do with the 714 Project. As of now we are not planning any new 714 Project events. Our mission remains the same, “If my people who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face…” While the 714 Project may fade at this time we know that the mission continues. We are grateful for the experiences, prayers, worship, and service that we have all experienced through this ministry, and now we are excited to see what God will continue to do in the city of Mobile. To God be the glory.

Sincerely,
The 714 Project Board

Ecumenicism is unnecessary for Gospel success. Absolute unity is a distraction from preaching to get people in the Kingdom. The closest thing to absolute unity will be when the Prince of Peace Reigns from Jerusalem during the 1000 Year Reign.
