I’m not sure I’ve been vacillating over weather or not to attend. Is it really going to interest me? Will I really be accepted? My children and I had a very bad experience this week along with their school basketball team this weekend with Pentecostals who don’t look like me. We were called names and basically told we were not Christians. The only thing we did was show up to a nonblack tournament as a couple of blacks on a mostly white team. Honestly I’m not dejected but very heart broken that my Pentecostal brothers would treat us with such disregard. Troy it’s much more to the story but this is not the place for it. So I may attend conference. I was very interested at first. If not I will just enjoy the festival of homiletics in May.
