A study on Daniel chapter 11.

**Chapter 14**

**Daniel Chapter 11.**

Daniel 11 will not be discussed in its entirety; as [Daniel 11:5-34](https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fbiblia.com%2Fbible%2Fkjv1900%2FDan%252011.5-34%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR1IiDg8YvLDEfjXRLRsvWDuqsHK6dRK_8kaiVH2T5ZPTiE4czu8nA3CpdM&h=AT2o34Jv0VhoQLsh070WMYwuquNE-TP34U-rABoF5aKKHwIbIpcrbGHpjUqaLngIpHNed-W83ZVRJ4oJZaXgVGhYCQ6Qy7dJHhvlYjfOhyS8IfrMey1rDpEhMbuDuzKdRYEap7ydVoxirdH14VlumA) is dealing with the past, only [Daniel 11:35-45](https://biblia.com/bible/kjv1900/Dan%2011.35-45?fbclid=IwAR3mZhow9MToZSIK_PpxLhhS_lfw7qEUH6hEd4qjHI0m1WQPLRcXNRCpF4c) will be discussed. The struggles and the conflicts between the kings of the north and the kings of the south, with the nation of Israel right in the middle of them, lasted for centuries. As the kings of the south and the kings of the north made war on one another, Israel could tell by the scenario given them in this chapter where they were in the stream of time culminating with the “abomination that makes desolate” ([Daniel 11:31](https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fbiblia.com%2Fbible%2Fkjv1900%2FDan%252011.31%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR12COGSHA6Az9zsrZ1R_fELGyF8Cj5vza9OI6nQUPU5Ts3s2LwvVGqW44I&h=AT0ZOZF7TutDkpnokQ49YbapYv5uCxbd2xrlU2KSqHpemyjsL_HM1fhCOhBx2G9J6bju6tKSJNyWvCeR7W-NDwnIEett-_vrvSiAuyTJpWUJipgp_isHftLR3sE3gdT3h_ea0m864e_KGWehfSD0ZQ)) which took place in AD 70.

Yahushua had forewarned His disciples, as found in [Matthew 24:15](https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fbiblia.com%2Fbible%2Fkjv1900%2FMatt%252024.15%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR2yB_6uqtWPu3DDBfwPzOq2oYDnY_2XwLlbuvE1UBBgr50-8GSGGQ39ha0&h=AT1lidbp3gPEwhAWTiaCVVL9brXdtN7DReknxLwwx9_FcGM6DwFawsdp6WoleKZXZ3gRzfGpaSGLmtICkW9aRZAPjBCT7kjA-hu19yaIf7pmsJubFbHBLB5gINrY4ZdjJZIZkpwpEmo0bDzOzvNtIQ), of this coming event and what to do when they saw it take place. “When you therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso reads, let him understand:) then let them which be in Judea flee into the mountain: let him which is on the housetop not come down to take anything out of his house: neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! But pray that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the Sabbath day” ([Matthew 24:15-20](https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fbiblia.com%2Fbible%2Fkjv1900%2FMatt%252024.15-20%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR0gMYY9ShHXVnWU90XJSs_yXP4v9F8TKCr-2mm5Dvtzarne9IVfXB0Dkhk&h=AT07p8XW2I4Dk7piZKC76Jp-zJleF8BquaCHsvF7j66B5eKjacjw91WrMwkXKiye8D3zaOPvPZ7eJj8zcmas_2MvQfTmScOqCzJF4e9pvPhG5Dl8pghjlWicnh1kI7UFeY1a2kbU86xVaJ4GGqqNLw)). When the Roman army surrounded Jerusalem, Elohim’s people understood that this was the fulfillment of Yahushua’s words and when the time presented itself they fled and supposedly without one Christian dying when General Titus returned with his army and took the city and destroyed it together with the Temple.

In [Daniel 11:36](https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fbiblia.com%2Fbible%2Fkjv1900%2FDan%252011.36%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR1h89GG1aOGhBOKH0L1q_EemDmZc80d7G44ach4YY5dHctWtaOx0chD49g&h=AT28nMwxURnLEbcHyoy-GdNbe79iv21s4Oi8-8-iEj3blEtp5o54mOaaO1gPgsVLmGoOybZmvylrUPx9uNrg2h_kANQNDSQ0LG7J4PGAtSsBxxobxVDYY8u89n0eiZRw3MByhYvXQdSc8kX3xjg76A), a new king is introduced into the scenario of Daniel 11; we are not told whether he is the king of the north or the king of the south. [Daniel 11:35](https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fbiblia.com%2Fbible%2Fkjv1900%2FDan%252011.35%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR0ThMKMAxhPIxlABdDq04isWpMuEf13LYq8gHSeA8ZmvMbCZXgrqhlAUoM&h=AT0ldXBkahHTV8oB88fnj7dkQL0o1Ha62YQMztVuJ0uVMJ7NULWpbRUqK0W2EgCjRVGlsGm9QBBKCN7CqJkLATp5mCCubgE6PguqnIbL5RWAC6P9YDMGLvr9IJsXcsHd2aSDe8Wg_E1Sg_ft1NPT1A) changes the time being described from the past “to the time of the end: because it is yet for a time appointed.”

Please notice the numerous pronouns being used in this section of Scripture all of which point back to “the king” first mentioned in verse 36. “And the king shall do according to *his* will; and *he* shall exalt *himself*, and magnify *himself* above every god, and shall speak marvelous things against the Elohim of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that is determined shall be done. Neither shall *he* regard the Elohim of *his* fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for *he* shall magnify *himself* above all. But in *his* estate shall *he* honor the god of forces and a god whom *his* fathers knew not shall *he* honor with gold, and silver, and with precious stones, and pleasant things. Thus shall *he* do in the most strong holds with a strange god, whom *he* shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and *he* shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain. And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at *him*: and the king of the north shall come against *him* like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and *he* shall enter into countries, and shall overflow and pass over. *He* shall enter also into the glorious land [the land of Israel], and many countries: and many countries shall be overthrown: but these shall escape out of *his* hand, even Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon. *He* shall stretch forth *his* hand also upon the countries: and the land of Egypt shall not escape. But *he* shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at *his* steps. But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble *him*: therefore *he* shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away [‘annihilate’ *NAS, NIV*] many. And *he* shall plant the tabernacles of *his* palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet *he* shall come to *his* end, and none shall help *him*” ([Daniel 11:36-45](https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fbiblia.com%2Fbible%2Fkjv1900%2FDan%252011.36-45%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR12-sN3E9R_-rS2BzVZ0Pk7aoMe68zLWaRR_b4_z0oPH933xT4wrt0VDLQ&h=AT3bnDgY5srVqOnaE0E56ZM63Ls_nUBw4Vm0rn-4iOogH67Q7lp-rflGwZTfEQM8Y4Tcbg_nY1yi-NzPQDURHhOG_pq3NHDUNEUIANf9TwBuBLEmVfPGDBgIcjxXf9YeENLFUgZmNP_WMVnbku-eTQ), emphasis added).

Daniel was told to “shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end” ([Daniel 12:4](https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fbiblia.com%2Fbible%2Fkjv1900%2FDan%252012.4%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR0CdADhuHhwJx0XlCmdJ8IQlM9lyTdeMDFk_jviIrJQaKoqrH3vMTPQ7nc&h=AT1aHZjAyAf4573qZ5-VGOEIvZXyMrhFR4fvDA-KhwusD2-Z2JB6SKaaSWJjOQCsVtrlYZoKd3-xiMmRqFKJPuFDhfPhVujUviUNd2V1tPZ8ybd1jFHwxjMTd4I9OJsxxA4-y5xO_P5HDsbLPCRV5g)). We are now approaching “the time of the end” and Elohim, as He has promised, is opening to our understanding the “truth” (“present truth” [[2 Peter 1:12](https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fbiblia.com%2Fbible%2Fkjv1900%2F2%2520Pet%25201.12%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR1EqrCUvu8QFhlD9ylFxqUKBRJZrTU-7OkchBUk5iKczIu-GFUgYt-KWec&h=AT39HK6R6P_slIr-4LlGQQM3NtfRp7gqz1No1nAxfDQt2ULIxK8gr1b7Cws34mZx7ZGbwSnkKSg-26TGJuQa_FR2VP7nsC4pnMSEuP4nNMjle178Jjs6VqkL2JYjV7LltgLz4Ym-I_xP5qEfwIYubQ)]) we need to know and understand as we live during these awesome times of earth’s final days before the return of Yahushua. “For the words are closed up and sealed [Will not be understood.] till the time of the end” ([Daniel 12:9](https://biblia.com/bible/kjv1900/Dan%2012.9?fbclid=IwAR2J8e0mq2LBNld1RGgZ_HrTD65_KvpOXjgGv3m5end2fNrYY5XlyrXlapM)). The fact that we are now beginning to understand the truths contained in Daniel is proof we are living in “the time of the end.” Elohim works on a need to know basis; no preceding generation needed to know what is in the book of Daniel dealing with the end of time and what is in the book of Revelation.

“And *the king* shall do according to his will” ([Daniel 11:36](https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fbiblia.com%2Fbible%2Fkjv1900%2FDan%252011.36%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR0GhwBjdu8wcCcsEkl2qzrfXA5DjC2IVrD7ZDmoorBSh4DHpPByrwHLlG8&h=AT1TzTDk_z3ZGrQc0dLbNYIEvjBcN3zgpJfAr5mOGHS9tJL9qNaVgiTvM4_QKOxO74WiXktKearswUjA4lTcEopAuByYm4RtDV_sj8_5NEQUVt8cK2T5fCpwyh18m1eHNKAhxOoXWX3mzwLLrEGp7Q), emphasis added). Who is this king? Who do the all the pronouns point to? Is he the king of the north or the king of the south or neither? Have we by this time in our studies together, come across any other king?

“And they had *a king* over them, *which is the angel of the bottomless pit*, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon” ([Revelation 9:11](https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fbiblia.com%2Fbible%2Fkjv1900%2FRev%25209.11%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR3vs-YIHsoGMNkRTcsCyDfHKWkU_ne5RYVxLrHQZd3duAH-r0YwPjPQUF0&h=AT2G29lqubIrwBR3AKGetz2GGa8MMR-JiEJ8p9yanh3sNoxXEcafEPADQ-Sa0CVw9iqJP8KebwTAuqPirTYNlDyPYEzIlQxMTkOiot1OF6YWZlPW1o9tydYP24zyu3-VyllygoIdTXB5abjn3UiQJw), emphasis added).

“And in the latter time of their kingdom, when transgressors are come to the full, *a king of fierce countenance*, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up” ([Daniel 8:23](https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fbiblia.com%2Fbible%2Fkjv1900%2FDan%25208.23%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR2arjV8YS48sTlKAZyaRkzyApbLZst6OuRO3OoAiD-GCoQ0_9F5fvNClZE&h=AT29ytiHxg36QAWBpqkUyxLV0AWYb3w3PPSyxBz8CQTthqE1bFFcr2ESvL5DLLy4zF7Q-vnUAIzwNiGbGbDVQYCQ_Y5tQP4r1b4EHG_pygtLQ0Ysl4rhV6oYq783CO1IxeVeGkW2VFT-IDWa2gnS8g), emphasis added).

In our discussions of [Revelation 9:11](https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fbiblia.com%2Fbible%2Fkjv1900%2FRev%25209.11%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR2sOPJwepBsKu2KAPQ0-SvYKhqe3n9VdYLmOqkg6aLkWKywUoVWDdUnckc&h=AT3NFzpYEMkv5ea3xlWC9HUVNa9llOAIPFkb39Lf2r98IjASFGEnc_pfpzqzzIxlZjbs8K7VcSgpDoNq85gQD4448bfbcAPAsZeMHPy7EtJt2v7IvuyhrGYyxHJIjiUxOEYiIjA1fD5bH6YGeZJnrw) and [Daniel 8:23](https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fbiblia.com%2Fbible%2Fkjv1900%2FDan%25208.23%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR03klLYvUXesgSdcqX7HoVF-_tnGAg23fEIDBfc2eMYiVkqr5BcnN9qAPA&h=AT31SxlsFw0PasR6U0HKgusSQKlIcKp1_uQEjUuPW390MGkeET-wINlsX9_7Z4Z4oHXgtiHvQ0iXqUmRU8fwtSoAtGYq3_ZQyc5L5R6p0RmuXHsgyGK5oAK69-Ai3fU4di1TnErL5QouEL1HHi1jXw), both of these kings were identified as Satan. Does it make sense that “the king” found in [Daniel 11:36](https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fbiblia.com%2Fbible%2Fkjv1900%2FDan%252011.36%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR1kcPaemt7sEQaKuzbKp2gtfql9jGoEdnUizl-ebFWGlWrgMJsE3CMsqZc&h=AT3f7pUmO8_hl4WlxvrbRZZjulHuiF707De6EXyT9_GBWGxKmZWUXIhTV8OAS2_ONYjiblz2wZnGzEx_hv1pbVBv4CwPJhR9P8NIInB7r3O9Yk6hx7HsfDll_7a010D3wSlQEbCJ5fTz-JvMo_RtMQ) is also Satan? In [Isaiah 14:4](https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fbiblia.com%2Fbible%2Fkjv1900%2FIsa%252014.4%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR1uYOnkdcGSOO2zqcPxa3peNN6U2pE_YkQKSTRCMKqJc-Ddrjxxgb1Gq1E&h=AT0BX4kiqOToWwVDUOJ0ZYGEaY4nxXeBYwpn6nDoiQs4NOa-xK9HrU5A3AExQBDcUaCebhmKqIjC46OnxNUSgrUDdalRZkHrYTYOhd2m7J27ecXw7OsgPgIo1K6ud5SDYyNrFmuIUuuAsA6Wz5JPzQ), Satan is also identified as “the king of Babylon.” Is there any mention of Babylon in Revelation? The Bible interprets itself! He “shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished” . . . “yet he [‘the king’] shall come to his end, and none shall help him” ([Daniel 11:36](https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fbiblia.com%2Fbible%2Fkjv1900%2FDan%252011.36%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR3S2e1mNqes6ohIvNRKhJSTZqKrZxV_QkeUWkowWT2dMZPNNHTN6ITCMH0&h=AT3BHl4s-TLbqtBBPd9KpZlciSv9sZ8MHAocDBkyb1Jm29zH7lf2xatgE9wKdFvJ3XohbyCachsbhpi05ZvDNQvMEYk8upwzmIs1c5z0uuIQqAQnTpEQz56HRCbf4P8-7PuI3lfVJGmQlvSRgTNKjA), [45](https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fbiblia.com%2Fbible%2Fkjv1900%2FDaniel%252011.45%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR1hbB4jNoaHlTgep7tRoegcg04eYo4U_2PUXyAjHxunJHCuiE2vgFcNtyA&h=AT0pm-U1PPh6WePm-Mf-FvWalKpdYhp-27PM3vCEGFwcZdP-nCeE4ajVnkBR2i_HbLsDwHUk8lh0U6q1BgDvax1uM7iWQ_RdlvCtULhgWJ7P6m-miNB4DpWT6InOD9S3OwOo4W7bKxyzrd673yyUXw)).

Because the preceding portions of Daniel 11 had the kings of the north and the kings of the south fighting against each other, many have continued that line of thinking without taking into consideration the addition into the mix of “the king” in verse thirty-six and what it tells us in verse 35 that “even to the time of the end.” In nearly every discussion of [Daniel 11:36-45](https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fbiblia.com%2Fbible%2Fkjv1900%2FDan%252011.36-45%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR0utiUmGUlCawYiJir669VHQru7oOTtYC8Vw0cUu08Zm2HLhCGQAJROe-A&h=AT01t9dWr46yqUkSRkHSqJmuUsYV5ye5gvuLXAcYEKPzM1oCIH6Gl4l36vH_dad0jaWaDk_0SdG0mVBrzKyMAaw9d1HmZPjRVckwDfQsdQ22SKI6RzlhxSk0iRTfUSaVBFM7JQO1UNOdOuc1DepORw) I have read, this “king” of [Daniel 11:36](https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fbiblia.com%2Fbible%2Fkjv1900%2FDan%252011.36%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR2QXb3a-cfelFlmVF2PX09RAnf_LWK57mDpoU6W0GlrmfLxxH0dspYZdRw&h=AT2FpAqazLkBu1YW9KDYAwd-JFK6sS_lNbhhmjp0ooUc55iNhrSZyDJw9rJnH9gichFdmcPXBLpjj2cE7HzkQ5EilqNiDB4ep3CuwLTtDiPbQ0C6YtWY2MHw53cyGP_5j1a28hx_jA2KqkJCC1pKhQ) is identified as the “king of the north” but nothing in the Scriptures supports that view. Is it just possible that is not the correct understanding? In [Daniel 11:40](https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fbiblia.com%2Fbible%2Fkjv1900%2FDan%252011.40%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR3jXpswRF4eMoXM_lYawyXyrErfQn6e6fKFV0aV6W3TmB-nMeIfBg7zJnU&h=AT1YrRU8hpJ5dDUASpp0Kiw3dhBPV-Nk4mQ91aN6e-7z-_VQuZqmzrZqKVCNPQLZ6Ofb9gkfPsFjvTH3_fSISlNp51eUqE_Y6Q4kGnBuHggOyG4I8qyRuaF7qtmb-lzAbxXxWKwjySZXZNCMBZlaGA), we read, “And at the time of the end shall* the king of the south push at him*: and *the king of the north shall come against him* like a whirlwind” (emphasis added). Are the king of the south and the king of the north pushing at and coming against “the king” mentioned in [Daniel 11:36](https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fbiblia.com%2Fbible%2Fkjv1900%2FDan%252011.36%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR1ngS3FJoNMW8jpdZdOMOHcTpGUfWDqVMo1QAGlJs485DiUJcRd4ZRcrXM&h=AT3f0fTpsYep99eVl6KCaZqTeApztV3FKa9pcBNE8noh_kSvM31kQQTRh0TQ9vfY26b7wqn7hSHa4JSyaXZKVvC4SeG6N7ixtGBRWfNEOCUjs0ltpWohrxEWnjIwvOXMwUJYrGY6tuPWs4i_Y2oClQ)? And it is at “the time of the end” ([Daniel 11:35](https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fbiblia.com%2Fbible%2Fkjv1900%2FDan%252011.35%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR0sc_DD2rf5B4CK0F9wKy6bSKeT42Vyl-dJEYMd46AsbrweLPbJMwcE5kA&h=AT1ZWlbQrho6D6TeczoKvY_oAz13w8_h6hzQGVeOeRAJllFDVboyKAGYFzJwCG5fxbel_ippLMmOpP1CTGiTYS3sFNJa7nEuREI8q670b3ow8gWbH6yuq8sR2LGXCUH3uT-QGLjBJSIFZfZnQsXT7w)) when this is occurring and has not occurred in the past.

Fifteen pronouns were used in verses 36 through 39 to describe “the king” of [Daniel 11:36](https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fbiblia.com%2Fbible%2Fkjv1900%2FDan%252011.36%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR3fhqtX53Ioz6indkd1n4ldsRB3WK-u7xQItmZLIQUAjcbeML1FJn2d2f8&h=AT00T0iLM1QpfyBV5hu8izNw56pnkvmf4moqwO_eqGZscuj50ZbybDhKE0oGweyRIM6BUHlvNNeLlTQR3ooEwPEHFapBF6YkAM0MTdkAhVZyYojFv9Nm4R8G3HtarMP59cEw_lNmCR_3Ttsy9bpc2g) and what he will be doing. There are fifteen references to “the king” of [Daniel 11:36](https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fbiblia.com%2Fbible%2Fkjv1900%2FDan%252011.36%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR3768PTR_FqzPtfQfN5q3R6JGoNpjz9oprdGMMy5B956-G2u-QPgFCmkJg&h=AT0rX1d_o9gmDMabbUMYBkYueb1xKupaVfW4RfuQI0j6Ohlk6JWejVqn62h72P2WQq783pMbhd_CXCixjAfeBnez8Q1QShtKAbSbQvnVtMIyqAALzUezCCL9hG4GeuQ8RZ71LF-6wJwqiZj6eZ99eg) in those four verses using the pronouns “he,” “his,” and “himself.” In verse 40 “the king of the south” pushes “at him” and the “king of the north” comes “against him like a whirlwind.” Why cannot both “hims” in verse 40 refer back to “the king” in verse 36 as all the other pronouns do in this portion of Scripture?

Thirty pronouns in verses 36 through 45 all refer back to “the king” first mentioned in [Daniel 11:36](https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fbiblia.com%2Fbible%2Fkjv1900%2FDan%252011.36%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR0mgxo32u1Qdd2i6B9rXAldoOP5hb5Hdzfc4i-CpBPE5okODnpcV5CDdYM&h=AT0XQfUq6FedP07VOWMLGeBKgqolvK2CCXmNXNALVoRAPZ7m3jV7tuFtdzUka8nYdbv_moWUHJdEYQ7fYo3oqeMNHsW3whSs4_7bBT8upjhYq5PzOmaJpPGH2sZ2faHdZGVJjvnk43XXxJ4qO-wxnw). It would be inconsistent to take the two pronouns used in verse 40 and not see them as referring back to that king first mentioned in verse 36 also, would it not?

This “king” exalts himself, magnifies himself, and speaks marvelous things “against the Elohim of gods.” Like the “little horn” which we discovered in our study of Daniel 8 was Satan, this king in [Daniel 11:36](https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fbiblia.com%2Fbible%2Fkjv1900%2FDan%252011.36%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR28lQkTccQWkJMoELTjrUr2sMEcKswT1h5esVsxZ7ddvvw_CL6JQmTXius&h=AT168f6yNj65JhdJ2EgjvSEUTSOu21md26mXWEhjMC65q72UrcCvF5cqgVhaeyFNCXJJnZY-BHG5ZPagp9wCMgaVAF_f2-8sVmduYxLWloq3d5Vm4Bj2EyX2_uslJ_AtrXnIuk6PW3ijglzZICkX8A) and the one mentioned in [Daniel 8:11](https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fbiblia.com%2Fbible%2Fkjv1900%2FDan%25208.11%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR0dqU4yT_4kf1ciThsIiUIXqG5QwnXh60kwYP6sGYIAneUvFxiFiNSSM8w&h=AT3o0xfIaYbYMHqYCQxbr1mVOjmjF93urE6c38gSrUz4UISxNQuXxQssZu7Y9wUZw2XL9GJGIVhtiEc6qua64nHfsb_kZH69S7DHzXShov9ol_IJtzP1_7tj8H7FVeWGF1ZBKNsBYhtJ0-lgbDWC2w) magnify themselves against Elohim or the “Prince of the host,” Yahushua.

Three other portions of Daniel and Revelation deal with Satan when he appears on the earth, and each scenario describes different aspects taking place during that time. We saw him portrayed in Revelation 9 tormenting those who had not been sealed; in Daniel 8, we saw him destroying “the mighty and the holy people” of Elohim. In Revelation 13, we saw him implementing the “mark of the beast.” Now here in [Daniel 11:36-45](https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fbiblia.com%2Fbible%2Fkjv1900%2FDan%252011.36-45%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR068K4_15pi73t2ZG07lPo7qr1eClE_sPCINEyYMtpPsK1FdpFaUjnPfoo&h=AT1CE8S9mSdUfOO0Z5TnqUxg4zg_fR5xvzqS1UMaHiTnYtxUDrexoqLNZlfEdn64hkoFjlpF2uR5cRO5loXh-ud7BAqQLJkSY43mnmUGZxwG9b0l6vDOAvRsDiQjItzGsBIKzxYxg4vngmPuTeELILtIhqpb0SdckkE), we see him involved in a war with the king of the south and the king of the north and setting up “his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain.” Daniel and Revelation are talking about the same things with each one adding to or complementing the other’s scenario. This will be the last great battle to take place before Yahushua returns.

“And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand [200,000,000]: and I heard the number of them [no symbolism used in this number]. And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone. By these three was *the third part of men killed*, by fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths. For their power was in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails were like unto serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt” ([Revelation 9:16-19](https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fbiblia.com%2Fbible%2Fkjv1900%2FRev%25209.16-19%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR2dkjtT1IkEs6VMmrFWqbS0pq6RtCQSJo7QfdKNufAnoDIM0pz47m4SkJ0&h=AT3G9Dji-B0VTQvSCsXJbOlOCeHAP4ikFIZE-29tf1dAGbst4jS3FD23UVibiYdtZ1NzPZ75jBNSAbdDpfGX2apDm9o5KbhSREbqsPxtU_K-IgoL0aFn9z1KqUO0A7a9kyiaJbmuSmM1VNx9IvrNoA), emphasis added).

This passage describes Satan and his army and what they will do. Up until this time, Satan and his confederate angels have not been permitted to kill mankind. “And to them was given that *they should not kill them*, but that they should be tormented five months” ([Revelation 9:5](https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fbiblia.com%2Fbible%2Fkjv1900%2FRev%25209.5%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR2EJiYHBnx6e1GxpCdhFVsh7eCnzqpuWEtKR5ddfhSTTZPd3Z5GEpuO1tw&h=AT3dYE2VahL9jnsyzMetQ3bNKOqyQdhDgHh0jdS_O2Qx55VIkZRAhJApUx2D-MaAhv_LQDCiZH7W-ydudglZCwaHcSIhwG-f2gqKGFdOMXKaw5m9euG8ESreJg2boa_G5cmnwQoZEY_dt9Bm01g2lg), emphasis added). Why are they now able to kill a third of mankind?

Mankind suffered greatly during the five months that Satan had been permitted to “torment” those who were not sealed, and in retaliation mankind declares war with Satan and his forces as seen in [Daniel 11:40](https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fbiblia.com%2Fbible%2Fkjv1900%2FDan%252011.40%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR07xXxcUjAaQrN9jQI4AiJA9yfXjkYPwIhaDWig2PDGxpVqC1_PqvlkUTs&h=AT2tQgoqWwNWA-3LehY2270ePIYYbEZInN6mXXde59Vd4dfOPpeZGn1UDh3OWdLQFdBUPJG34EGXL3lr9gcH2wr7evKNH_XeYacRhEK2g4HnwAFzC6QnX18WO_719xeoPveSvHGpGX6ypP0Ka-IlcQ). Satan and his forces defend themselves with terrible results to mankind. Many worship Satan, but just as Satan rose up in rebellion against Elohim’s rightful rule so mankind rises up against Satan. Mankind has learned well the lessons the arch-rebel has taught them.

One-third of the remaining inhabitants of the earth are killed in this war. Taken together with what is described for us in [Revelation 6:8](https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fbiblia.com%2Fbible%2Fkjv1900%2FRev%25206.8%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR0JjuicV5J-wA6chiUUUxSrE6ILcVQKUTfBT462F3o0R67zNelk8THoTGk&h=AT3nJShclrycnkThPwDJdqAJ0H4aY478t7veUCbnWpjxz9CaOneX-Y7zLujAyyDStKJmZQYhM3WwCjxkpnz0OunOq1sGGBbsEWSIGF88wISH-2fdx5Zy0lJuWLGn34wPWGhhFbatWEX3gPFuvk0eUQ) where one-fourth of earth’s population is killed during the first four trumpets, you end up with one-half of the earth’s original population before the time of trouble began remaining alive after this war. If the population of the earth at the beginning of the time of trouble is eight billion and then subtract one-fourth of eight billion, six billion remain. If one-third of mankind die during this war, you have two billion fewer, which brings us to four billion of earth’s inhabitants alive after the sixth trumpet sounds or one-half of the original population of the earth before the “time of trouble” began.

Jeremiah had warned Israel and the surrounding nations not to fight against ancient Babylon. He wore a yoke of wood to show them that they were to submit to the king of Babylon. In spite of Jeremiah’s best efforts, the yoke of wood was torn from him and the people paid no heed to his counsel. He told them that because they listened to the false prophets and would fight against Babylon that they would wear a yoke of iron. Babylon then devastated Israel and the surrounding countries because Israel and those surrounding countries did not submit to Babylon (Jeremiah chapters 27 and 28). If they had surrendered to Babylon as Jeremiah had counseled them to do, Jerusalem would not have been destroyed and its inhabitants’ lives would have been spared.

The 144,000 will be warning the people to submit to Satan and his angels rather than fight against them, but it looks as though that will have been to no avail. This does not mean that they should accept the “mark of the beast” or worship the “image of the beast.” The people are not to rise up against Satan as the king of the south and the king of the north and their armies will do. From what is pictured, the people will not listen to Elohim’s servants, the 144,000, but they will be listening to the false prophets, who have been opposing the 144,000, and will follow their counsel.

When you consider all that has occurred during the sounding of the six trumpets ([Revelation 8:5-12](https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fbiblia.com%2Fbible%2Fkjv1900%2FRev%25208.5-12%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR0PZQJn-w4E3Yzcmt63NxiGKuCQj–UcLXwJGzFF0IWbsIkt364B6uVfko&h=AT0UuyjiwvcsScmqu3OW7nsSsqwiO9ameXObG96bpqURRgh8scuDEKY1D0qKY1Oeuz7y7Yk1KDiA1v38tzy8uvmwk-9Odo9GiNYP4V6s4fMJcUdt_i0WIh22KIKpiLqIQRZahqbeH_ExEcs2fl-CiA) and chapter 9 and 11:5-6), you would think that it would have had an effect on the attitude of the people, but we read in [Revelation 9:20-21](https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fbiblia.com%2Fbible%2Fkjv1900%2FRev%25209.20-21%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR1Gv0SUuGtmTOy_PS4D1jtGywC7idRG9qAcV4JG18cXN9CSeGIELirbp7c&h=AT2z2VWjIKk_E1D8pjy8KrB-d7Gbo0jjkO6Q9dFoDegMsVFCSxoLkxmBi2A6Sz4QtTbncOV0wcZI2mA54G0UjJak7NYcegFaNgoeCpe-2LlGQ4BZ9QQpLVaZsYYXCDd1BopXSvkevbi28q5AZ5zcZQ), “And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues *yet repented not of the works of their hands*, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk: *neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts*” (emphasis added).

Nothing that has happened has brought about any change in the lives of the remaining four billion of earth’s inhabitants. Yes, there will be a “great multitude” that we met in [Revelation 7:9-17](https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fbiblia.com%2Fbible%2Fkjv1900%2FRev%25207.9-17%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR0hQgzhzsiEeMlwSF16WZ0liTSTG54723fxZIIW6IZ4AvgdTmfnGvxt9Js&h=AT1TO97eTLUftm9Qb3fFb_xurgkJIl0-yGTEFWra6k9Ury4sypPBjHP1q3s8_XQjADi7Py_3WFcHsMkCgquVgMvTxCrveVNN6kx0DLD3szOHdLU3qvExyQ3hUt43Di5hyqCvPuSzH32zAmgLaC9HLQ) who will have made their decision to come to Elohim on His terms and will be redeemed, but the vast majority of mankind will join the Devil in the lake of fire ([Revelation 20:14-15](https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fbiblia.com%2Fbible%2Fkjv1900%2FRev%252020.14-15%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR2j82uBNsgHR5J3qFw2LOaq7xqeJF-2GqO_pylSVQz6xF6oAJxMH2RIe0k&h=AT3MQogICyC7ZRJ0P-aQWthfj1waGLC3LfQc7C-fmiEhrx4nzKcG53TwVb9QLcoTh_h00vYP94UbxYOMwiVCiDsjvnQ5quKMZ6xUcutv5iznRTbomZYx-DtRu8Aa6mGCinGvfqxrZWyy02IU7d76YA)), to be burnt up and become ashes on which Elohim’s redeemed will walk ([Malachi 4:1-3](https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fbiblia.com%2Fbible%2Fkjv1900%2FMal%25204.1-3%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR1WVw5n71EcbnJmbNO-TIZPq7VM7S9qKro5rgN7mYp1tNOmGYu436Bg4a4&h=AT2jlZNUzdG-9SBLyfSz8F_E48ohh8zf453SBB1hdEyp1caalrmNAvKy2vgH24RyQP2RFB4ILvYkBc8P6etQmj2wTiN0JvmvSGwCuV8Okz1hCpPZ16Ydxoi4Ct3hwq-0Uc8aJPShy0xuIHvOAFrdPBsgj8KevHNu16E), [Ezekiel 28:18](https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fbiblia.com%2Fbible%2Fkjv1900%2FEzek%252028.18%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR0VanU8kOzSznTTtWjjtSIBoHR1ayLDYhvnxnuA8D1W-hD-m97khUU8Gp0&h=AT1LCavrtZ4PgkXWQD587xlnfpjhKIaw6IXNR7TtjQC9YXgcGL4XMGKPZ-7O9JvubOWrI2KUqKm-26oT6NjOpNYnFRlTk_Rm4014BxAF-oVt5BZ2gPMXzNJeIaKE75hs5azd-xBxKX990pIzhONG_A)).

Elohim will not be confining those who reject His offers of mercy and salvation to suffer throughout eternity, but He will do the merciful thing and put them out of their misery forever. “There is no peace, saith my Elohim, to the wicked” ([Isaiah 57:21](https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fbiblia.com%2Fbible%2Fkjv1900%2FIsa%252057.21%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR2tc4MBMoH9_54pWcVG7I6Cb2G5feVdw7JwxChFdzW0ZnNwQo3w_zIJDew&h=AT2UA6ruyqIeYU8D2oOQOIhao9QVLVlkFyE5P8DBJ2qQzXMhQzSrd_2bX47LIVF1mJMPUgNX5qVKJ1a18MWkVfFNN-HfJOiziiVYGO5OotzObX5svXHb4zrfYLjpkaOuXsa5bup6LaIULoz5b2InWU9rvW3KXPOscHw)). When people do not have peace of mind they are miserable beings. The doctrine of eternal hellfire was invented by Satan to turn man against Elohim, and this doctrine has been incorporated into many religious systems including that of Christianity. This will be discussed in later chapters and in Appendix B. On our web site at the following link we have a study on Hell, the Slanderous Lie of Satan, [http://globalimpactstudies.com/hell.html](https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=http%3A%2F%2Fglobalimpactstudies.com%2Fhell.html%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR1RdUvCmneru6ZJja_8xftzgkhLbazFHnMW9ybcbTY5mXPqk6ktC6ojNUs&h=AT2mzQUbA3CeyO0tBRlaiA0waGK2n7o4BcQ-zZkydrH2BJuxM3KXMigQWhrxmGsX0qx5CVKRZ6appV5IUm1lStiS1BiLyroCvbBtW4aJ20zSd-Thfbz2Oftw-5yipK83PxHq8-O6Qw0qgMFReXB3GA)

The ground work for this heaven-insulting teaching and Elohim-slandering doctrine was laid in the Garden of Eden when Satan told Adam and Eve that they would not die ([Genesis 3:4](https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fbiblia.com%2Fbible%2Fkjv1900%2FGen%25203.4%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR0AjBI9K3641toKovsauBZqpI5Ctcx-b0L7g8nHwSHq6aPDxmFEb7ty-os&h=AT20xKvnL-6eM0CAN0A3W_2jo00SwTXFU-cvKIysMUA75vv-KfjOs_hwF5wj1Jpahl6M30fCRCDrCdPTALIBFu3X_VBTfrdZt5k_mFaXQTM55olNxFPnZX5DSWSbYq13ISXUObQ7kX1kSx00yGeTjg)) in contradiction to what Elohim had told them ([Genesis 2:17](https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fbiblia.com%2Fbible%2Fkjv1900%2FGen%25202.17%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR1jLFMCp9CplQzzh5O_3In-3NO3Tqe2VGa41rklbJU3TbQKF0oiqnkswbo&h=AT1ZL_G3xUC21z18QtbR9q44czzHtRKtg4SxSIF7SPRdB3_5OntdS9lzEpV8PETg_EqI8C3y3mAWp9BZnX1q8800A5O9pf_zMUhdNJo1HLgZG687YjfsLJ4F9ASgrUXiCkIsXUdBmoTaqArqyitDSw)). As a result of accepting this blasphemous teaching of eternal hellfire, many have come to hate Elohim. This teaching is more in line with the sadistic and tyrannical nature of Satan, who invented such a lie; it gives us insight into his character and what he would do if he was in control. This teaching is completely out of character with Elohim’s nature, Who has described Himself as “merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth, keeping mercy for thousands [actually millions], forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin” ([Exodus 34:6-7](https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fbiblia.com%2Fbible%2Fkjv1900%2FExod%252034.6-7%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR3lEHIzQh2JOdqcRsgyGGRQ2rocIqueVKNhNrLVwV3n_xxRWqJ97RBwoV4&h=AT1ndAtVMbqc9Ei468f-w_4b7ixsgh_1L-BSaKFUF6XbHGZ6BlHAMVnBwd_M4f4KxL0sB5znJ6FD4BjJz9_9ki_Dx03Nnd1xvL04j34UY0uujUxY-sutvgDMamm4Acu2iC5zw3t6dgYgfTeVGavSBA)).

And He said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for *the place whereon thou standest is holy ground*” ([Exodus 3:3-5](https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fbiblia.com%2Fbible%2Fkjv1900%2FExod%25203.3-5%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR3Xg6urqpZ44KY6wcCgqgaXl23Cfldr8E7CgPCYBr_0jsVgRaLEpfeZdFs&h=AT19kS_Zjl92ZEfR5eZpkmMmV7hTRVdZ1siZKdTmJWuiLLTP0Lhfs_4SlA2PP0fLZK3BG-BlUfstMLIQe8fv-J0aqCRpNnh-pSspJ9ap3-BCJGJLJtv4xeLCXu9Tqg_xOS4w79ZnuTbczN7tjSoZew), emphasis added). What could be a more blasphemous abomination than exalting himself as Elohim? Satan has been setting up mankind to come and worship him at this time. He has perverted the Scriptures to suit his diabolical designs.

In speaking of Christ or Messiah, [Isaiah 9:6-7](https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fbiblia.com%2Fbible%2Fkjv1900%2FIsa%25209.6-7%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR054YZPKWQh1GPHy3jqpRdNyg_TaiPfSQZEDv4f2rfDpX7-57uV0iAJ4Cg&h=AT09PGcGlc-DtjrHhZswmz5trF0E_NRmm8tDF8iVU7kqNDTNgaCY_FwNdRnN_SYj-eSHG9GgYds0fdDFhSl6R2ANCAWN8Vt1712BhfAmLVVa-lWvyhaFgWBGIinmMhJPka0kQd2g84hSW7BnqFWtrg) reads: “For unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder: and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty Elohim, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end, *upon the throne of David*, and upon His kingdom, to order it with judgment and justice from henceforth even forever. The zeal of Yahuwah of hosts will perform this” (emphasis added). If Israel had accepted Messiah when He came the first time there was another plan that would have been carried forward, but they crucified Messiah and another plan was put into effect. This was discussed in the chapter on [Daniel 9:24-27](https://biblia.com/bible/kjv1900/Dan%209.24-27?fbclid=IwAR2fjwlgYSD2TXVYV2wKK_5jojiYy_rrplMkxYz3qrmHI_CisBkt02vGg5w).

Satan has led the world to believe that the one thousand-year millennium will take place here on this earth, and when Satan sets up his throne in Jerusalem, the people of earth will be deceived into believing there will be peace on the earth for the next one thousand years and many will come to worship him. Many are looking for Messiah to return to this earth and set up His throne in Jerusalem. When this abomination (Satan impersonating Messiah and setting up his throne in Jerusalem claiming that he is Elohim) takes place, it will be declared to be the beginning of the 1,000 years of peace. “*For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them*, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape” ([1 Thessalonians 5:3](https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fbiblia.com%2Fbible%2Fkjv1900%2F1%2520Thess%25205.3%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR1qJBjoVSWauNgq6BbmxCrnQZOYE6rQrk2S8OWuO3axgGCunt8oRukEni4&h=AT0WG7PwCVoJqol0xW1Jb1Srugd2GmSJgfCTbKTLOwvUDElfY_HGw6NSDP5VyIPc7-U6zPKyxjwM5p-ZdqhuMKaWnZArs-3F6mLavaAZM6KbTNFKL7–f_CLDbqUT8RE6OMg4S2CK07yFVL85_mWeQ), emphasis added). “And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, *which deceives the whole world*” ([Revelation 12:9](https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fbiblia.com%2Fbible%2Fkjv1900%2FRev%252012.9%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR2NjWuqZw3gRgqkK-CAUWFoDabKkQTMuSQQGFFnmYvawSMksto1k9adsRY&h=AT2Gj3HzKuI99RVZt938e1NPuZdLqbGvvqvbo4VqztfaPQ1ToAemV98eOJgZHeljYhsD_OxSwvwEKQa1NjD5q21u99Ud_dPbRZLem6h08bk7yoRWlWpJRBIUFQV7Vkof2MAfXTtKpDzxGmjVN8QKyQ), emphasis added). He has worked his delusions and deceptions on mankind to bring them to this point in time, when earth’s inhabitants will worship him as their Messiah.

When the Roman army set up their standards on holy ground in AD 70 the followers of Messiah still in Jerusalem escaped for their lives at the earliest possible time. When Satan sets up his throne in Jerusalem, it will signal the true followers of Elohim that the real Yahushua Messiah is about to return. The day Satan sets up his throne in Jerusalem will be on the 1,290th day since the first global earthquake described in [Revelation 8:5](https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fbiblia.com%2Fbible%2Fkjv1900%2FRev%25208.5%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR2DR-U8SEoZxw_J0lp9MlM10FP3GAaQhcx6s9Yd1ezJvK9tQfHAa717Dqo&h=AT3VpVQB5rJBwm2NKdrBaHqeAohw9Zh-FY_sGNjstAd9XujtoKkw546WLbpzUNvIvumGwT9QGBf7peotA8XxRIJHj5F8oHkTj2PxcnqJyjHuigjnLoB1yBaQLui8Avb6VpqHMB1mdn2xg4zQcP4NtQ) and will signal that Yahushua is about to return.

After Daniel tells us about Satan setting up his tabernacles in “the glorious holy mountain” in [Daniel 11:45](https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fbiblia.com%2Fbible%2Fkjv1900%2FDan%252011.45%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR1yIAqBiqOa2VaNgRLaMC-ssUQCp5x1PxVi6iOTwZXV5D52GB4zM_06t0M&h=AT3txeWHnbSBgT3pZF56jmnOEMjYfYfMR0jyzZ3fZb5yI_ppKZiQyVXhOH8YJyJCaM21FHGAoGT98wCTbiyl39WHXMbx7bSEk9of1beB-VzmknA5ugfdBSP-3R0OQ6Z7877TkMdc-Ro8SLXB4qvszA), we find these words of cheer: “Yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.” The end of Satan’s reign of tyranny over the inhabitants of earth is about to come to an end and “none shall help him.” Satan has heard of “tidings out of the east” for that is the direction from where Yahushua shall come when He returns!

In response to this heaven-insulting act, “the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain, and blasphemed the Elohim of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and repented not of their deeds” ([Revelation 16:10-11](https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fbiblia.com%2Fbible%2Fkjv1900%2FRev%252016.10-11%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR0CW75wcPNTotkAYlFA3HblYv1s80slxzwcVhjwheV9peqyutKEcmeDdTQ&h=AT0HLjOXrgwpYPczXCopht2xd_f8W4A57jF-1IUzHA9mlrJiN_mSfgkDqGoHkw9f56EBPTBvbJy8bHrwP9wkv_pn6Yvs28XSUVD4_YoF1IhxUdpV0yZ1RzqFLzyENzyQwKCoIwp-X6vEsaj5O9gZFw), emphasis added).

The scenes pictured for us in Revelation 17 and 18 are what take place in the sixth plague mentioned in [Revelation 16:12](https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fbiblia.com%2Fbible%2Fkjv1900%2FRev%252016.12%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR0uePkUFzCrlf5J5cYyZg7OP8FnTNP5s-J-IeEaJD5B3zqAlWJO4B7b89w&h=AT3fR0JjElSRa-Q-KiL3SyD9XUuSW3MfnVpJJAOpzyGP8eE-u3FCBeF3nLUqXkOV2WsYYYTcfEDCrQQeFPcK36IxOwH0fX-3JRmtoiQPxdeM9SNqL1M4YQAQPWDrsDI3hPxZA1c8akFZA6i4ynDTSw). These describe the judgment of Babylon, the New World Order, by Satan and his ten confederate angels whom he appoints as kings in place of the New World Order. Their reign is very short; “one hour” ([Revelation 17:12](https://biblia.com/bible/kjv1900/Rev%2017.12?fbclid=IwAR1JBZmTGurPZ4EJw8xYEEFrflpF1cyRn4gT5H7uoq7w9hC0SLe0uCE0iWg)). This is not prophetic time but is an indication of how short of a reign Satan and his cohorts will have. When we say “just a minute” we do not mean an exact minute but a short period of time and so it is with “one hour.”

Satan will set up his throne in Jerusalem on the twelve hundred and ninetieth day since the beginning of the “time of trouble” ([Daniel 12:1](https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fbiblia.com%2Fbible%2Fkjv1900%2FDan%252012.1%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR1nzeJnza6KtqF264AXQtRLINoRj1cqnVKZ5vQ-2pRMHMSetS5vuiCz9lY&h=AT0iLNEto-bkEGUmCd_iILcFmTO_ezJZkgGyDLx82SbQpikAulf9CPNeiJUhtOP6OndK4ZAFAeHMl-5-b-ZmOgOwdAE5VKIrXCW2I8gkJXwTNGajuGh0i2UqFTza7egqiHkDoFLpOQy_8D-jvBO3jw)) and is referred to as “the abomination that makes desolate” ([Daniel 12:11](https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fbiblia.com%2Fbible%2Fkjv1900%2FDan%252012.11%3Ffbclid%3DIwAR3Aofe7zVoRBbB-YKNmjBjMpEun9ZMlQVNmr8HMh7i2GtqVCvyLXgR_ykI&h=AT2WC15xt4ccsFeiRnWXOzk7_fVz82AqLWl4q47rNdS0R69Dd1Xyl6jiKUSgFIH5xS7TamfKxlTgccwjUP6Dy11DIx77qk-AFHcwtdzXtYcCo5N3t7_D3e0Tr937U_GX735ieVWcdoo-NLtX99-9vw)). This will also bring to an end the” forty and two months” of the New World Order being in power ([Revelation 13:1-5](https://biblia.com/bible/kjv1900/Rev%2013.1-5?fbclid=IwAR1bm-Aa5y0aQXh1wBylwAf_wxVZEDABLCIk-gCbzh5BdO545SSq2SiNadY)).
