[The Lord spoke this to my heart, both for myself and to share with the rest of the Body of Christ, as I was reading various Christians commenting about how busy they are. We are entering into a new season when we must be available to Him.  Let us heed what the Spirit is saying – Ray]

“The Lord says, Slow down, and rest in Me.

“All your activity and efforts interfere with My work in your life and slow down My ministry through you, when it is my desire in this time to accelerate. I have poured My love into you by the Holy Spirit, yes the Spirit of Truth. But with busyness, you have difficulty sensing My love, My truth, My direction. Busyness brings only confusion.

“Do what I show you to do, but not in your own strength. Your self efforts are unnecessary and counterproductive. My grace is sufficient. Rest in Me and listen, and I will show you what to say, where to go, and what to do, and doing things My way, you will succeed greatly.

“Focus, focus on My life within you, and the light of My glory will shine from you. Relax from your efforts and trust in Me, listen to Me, spend time with Me and let the faith I have given you rise up big within you. As you focus on Me, I give you eyes to see My great desire, My plan, My purpose for you, which is for you to receive all I have given you, My peace and joy, health and wealth, supernatural power and victory in every area of life, so that you will be strong to go out and allow Me to touch the world around you through you to bring in the harvest.

So slow down and rest in me, for resting in me doesn’t bring passivity but preparation, for I want to use you greatly in the coming times.”
