Mexico earthquake, Hurricane Maria and the Nibiru Cataclysm myth

A huge 7.1-magnitude earthquake killed more than 200 people in Mexico yesterday – less than a fortnight after a 8.1-magnitude shaker slaughtered 100.Christian fanatics have matched Bible prophecies with the movement of the stars and planets to predict the exact date of Armageddon.

Some think a mysterious giant planet called Nibiru will appear in the skies before crashing into Earth.

Now a leading voice in the so-called “Nibiru Cataclysm” movement has told Daily Star Online the natural disasters are a further sign the End of Days is here.

Earlier this year, amateur stargazer and Christian numerologist David Meade predicted Nibiru – also known as Planet X – would appear in the skies on September 23, 2017.It will pass close by or crash into Earth the following month, he said in his book Planet X – The 2017 Arrival. His detailed analysis, based on Bible verses and the position of the stars and planets, was so compelling it was covered across mainstream media in both the US and UK.

This Saturday, Jupiter, the moon and the constellation Virgo will align as the New Testament book of Revelation said they would before the end of the world, he said. Nibiru will then appear – before the collision with Earth or devastating near miss in early October.

The Bible warns there will be a series of terrifying natural disasters and period of war – known as “The Tribulations” – as the apocalypse approaches. Jesus describes the period just before the end of the world in the book of Luke, chapter 21, verse 10 and 11.
 

Millions of people have been left homeless and without power by Hurricane Irma and Hurricane Harvey. It is the first time in recorded history that two category 4 storms have made landfall in the US. Hurricane Maria – a category 5 storm – is now ravaging the Caribbean and may also hit the US. Almost 100 people were killed an earthquake and tsunami in Mexico – the most powerful for more than 30 years – earlier this month. The new earthquake yesterday has flattened the capital Mexico City – killing at least 22 children.

As for “great signs from heaven”, Mr Meade warned last month’s extremely rare total solar eclipse in the US was a harbinger of the impending doom. He said the nuclear face-off between the US and North Korea – which experts warn could escalate into World War 3 – is a sign of “nation rising against nation”.

He told Daily Star Online: “Hurricane Harvey literally appeared out of nowhere. Do you think this is a coincidence?“It’s an eerie reminder ringing in our ears of the days of Noah, when the earth was judged by floods.

“Hurricane Irma was next. It has left close to half of the state of Florida without power. It is massive.

“In Mexico we see an earthquake over 8.0 on the Richter scale.

“In the western US there are uncontrolled firestorms in the forests.

“North Korea just detonated a hydrogen bomb. It was accompanied by a 6.3 magnitude quake.

“All of these things are just coincidences, right?”

Some believe the unusual spate of earthquakes, volcanoes and hurricanes Earth is experiencing are caused by the effect of Nibiru’s gravity on Earth. Mr Meade has warned it could even set off a dormant super-volcano in Yellowstone National Park – and split the US in two.

NASA insists Nibiru doesn’t exist – but so-called “truthers” say this is a cover-up to stop the planet panicking. Bizarrely, Mr Meade claims Hurricane Harvey seems to have formed out of the total eclipse. The total eclipse was only fully visible certain places on Earth, which formed a path across the US. Mr Meade told Daily Star Online: “Not many people followed it after it left the United States, but I did – and it landed out in the Atlantic where Hurricane Harvey formed.”

The Nibiru Cataclysm myth dates back to 1976, when writer Zecharia Sitchin claimed that two ancient Middle Eastern cultures – the Babylonians and Sumerians – told of a giant planet – Nibiru – that orbited the Sun every 3,600 years. Self-proclaimed extraterrestrial psychic Nancy Lieder then warned Nibiru would crash into Earth.

    Yes it’s coming just any day now. But we don’t know the day or the hour. The signs that keeps getting closer and closer. And harder and harder. Means America needs to start repenting of killing babies. Homosexuality , at ease in Zion. Those aren’t the only sins we need to repent over. Are we staying close to God. So that , that day won’t come upon us unaware. He could come any day. But He did tell us some things to watch for. He said when they began to happen. Look up your Redemption drawing nigh.
