“I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving BE MADE FOR ALL PEOPLE–for kings [or Presidents] and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.” (1 Tim. 2:1-2) [This is: *A responsibility given to us as Christians to pray for all people, and predominantly for all in authority. We should take care that this be done! *Our purpose as Christian’s is to promote prayer; and as followers of Christ we MUST BE a praying people.] “This is good, AND PLEASES GOD our Savior, WHO WANTS ALL PEOPLE TO BE SAVED and to come to a knowledge of the truth.” (1 Tim. 2:3-4) [Our Abba Father “wills” that all men be saved; therefore, he “wills” that all men should BE PRAYED FOR. In the face of such an affirmation, we must be cautious in supposing that God unconditionally and eternally reprobates someone?] “For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom FOR ALL PEOPLE…” (1 Tim. 2:5-6) [Notice, the death of Jesus was a ransom, an exchange. We deserved to and should have died, but Jesus DIED FOR US, to save us from death and hell; he gave himself a ransom VOLUNTARILY, a ransom for all!] “…As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD, I TAKE NO PLEASURE IN THE DEATH OF THE WICKED, but rather that they turn from their ways and live. Turn! Turn from your evil ways!” (Ezek. 33:11) [Our Abba Father says:] “…I say to a wicked person, ‘You will surely die,’ but they then turn away from their sin and DO WHAT IS JUST AND RIGHT…None of the sins that person has committed will be remembered against them. They have done what is just and right; they will surely live.” (Ezek. 33:14-16) [What is “just and right”? To repent, turn away from our sin and ask for forgiveness and commit ourselves to live for our Abba Father with Jesus NOW in our lives, and we will be saved!]

Be blessed as you praise The Lord, knowing that NONE OF THE SINS THAT WE HAVE COMMITTED WILL BE REMEMBERED AGAINST US!
