Not even the angels in heaven know when that will be.

Not trying to bring the Trinity up or anything ??….But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only. Matt 24:36

The last day would be the one right after the day before the last day right? Alan Smith Joe Absher

“I have seen Him in the watch-fires of a hundred circling camps; They have builded Him an altar in the evening dews and damps; I can read His righteous sentence by the dim and flaring lamps, His day is marching on.”

The Last Days began with Jesus’s resurrection from the dead. They end when he returns and the millennium begins.

the question is not Last DayS but last Last Day – it begins right about after the end of the day before the last Last Day and is over when its over in time and space

Is last day mentioned anywhere except Mary’s remark to Jesus concerning Lazarus?

In the hundred years before the birth of Jesus there was a lot of apocalyptic thinkers and teachers. The Jews under the heavy thumb of the Romans had a strong wish for the world to be destroyed, thus wiping out the Romans. In my view this spilled over into the N.T. era. I have just finished a long book about the main Evangelical leaders of the past two hundred years. All their predictions about the ” last day ” have been wrong. Perhaps we should quit thinking about the end of the world and total destruction and start thinking about the next generation and the generation after that and how we can be salt and preservative for the world that we live in.

Jim Price why are these contradictory? The church becomes glorious as the world burns up. Didn’t Noah just sail right through the world destroying Flood?

Philip Williams To say that Noah, ” sailed right through” at 600 years of age he was told to build this large ship, to assemble animals from all over the earth then to gather in enough food to feed the animals, to do so while being disdained by his fellow humans and then to have to start all over at his advanced age leaves us wondering.

Jim Price the Scriptures tell us that God brought the animals to the Ark. As regards Noah’s Age, he was obviously still a healthy man and lived a few hundred more years after all this. Do you have trouble believing? Maybe I can help. I have probably investigated this matter more than any other.

Philip Williams For starters, do you believe that the whole earth was flooded? Now that we know that we are on a giant ball turning through space, with the surface of the earth moving at close to 1000 miles per hour do you hold that Australia and the north pole and the south pole were also covered with water?

Well, I was trained in the sciences and worked in the sciences, and of course became an atheist in college on account of that. I wanted to believe in God but couldn’t until I discovered my scientific arrogance moments before I met the Lord. I didn’t know how to understand Genesis and I discovered that no one else had any satisfactory answers, neither Ken Ham, nor the old earth Creationist leader Hugh Ross, both of whom I personally know.

So when I resigned from my company in 1990, I set out to find out in a very methodical and testable way.

Actually I did discover massive evidence of a worldwide Flood. Published a book on that in 2011. I had traced a secondary worldwide migration beginning in the Middle Bronze Age to Mount Ararat in Eastern Turkey. Just as I was publishing my book in 2010, I heard Diane Sawyer mention this discovery on Mount Ararat. Most thought it s hoax, but I went to their defense. In 2014, an archaeological official and myself visited the site in preparation for an archaeological investigation.

Well Philip I stand aghast at meeting someone who has spent so much time, money and energy researching the Noah and Ark story. I carefully reviewed your video. Now here 5 years after your visit, do you feel certain that the pictures you took were of Noah’s Ark? The Ark was 510 feet long; were you able to ascertain the length on your visit? Next as time permits we need to discuss the length of Noah’s life. Nine hundred and fifty years is a long time; how do explain the biology of that time?

The man that prays, reads his Bible, obeys the gospel of Jesus Christ, and serves his fellow man with love and patience. Waiting on God with diligence and faith.
