**SO WHAT DID JESUS MEAN BY THE “ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION” – THAT HE SAID WE MUST UNDERSTAND – AND THAT WE WOULD SEE DURING OUR GENERATION?**

**THE ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION:“Jesus said, ‘I will return in the clouds for all to see during the same generation that sees the rebirth of the Jewish nation of Israel [which happened in 1948 – so our generation!]. But before I return during that generation, YOU WILL SEE THE ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION spoken of by Daniel the Prophet’ – in which THE ANTICHRIST – who will confirm a 7 year covenant with many at the 3.5 year mark of the 7 years – WILL WALK INTO THE REBUILT JEWISH TEMPLE – AND FALSELY DECLARE HIMSELF TO BE GOD.” Matthew 24:3,32,34,15,30-31;Revelation 1:7;Daniel 9:27;2 Thessalonians 2:4.**

**IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE WE SHOULD KNOW BETWEEN THE ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION AND JESUS’ RETURN? “Jesus said, ‘Soon after the AntiChrist falsely declares himself to be God, he will launch a GREAT WORLDWIDE PERSECUTION OF MY FOLLOWERS – IN WHICH MANY WILL TURN AWAY FROM ME – because otherwise they will be betrayed by their family and friends, lose their right to buy and sell, lose all their money, homes, and possessions – and be arrested, tortured and killed – BUT ONLY THOSE WHO STAY TRUE TO ME – EVEN THROUGH THE LOSS OF ALL THINGS, TORTURE AND DEATH – WILL BE SAVED.’” Matthew 24:9-10,13,30-31,19:29;Luke 21:16;Revelation 13:17,12:11;Philippians 3:8.**

**SO PLEASE JOIN ME – WITH ALL YOUR HEART AND MIND – IN THIS DECISIONAL PRAYER: Thank You SO much Jesus – for letting us know – that You will return in the clouds for all to see during our generation – but that – before that happens – that we will see the abomination of desolation – and the great worldwide persecution of Your followers – and that we must stay true to You to the end to be saved. We believe You! And that is what we want to do – to stay true to You! Please bless us and help us to do it! We ask You in Jesus name. Amen!**

I believe it’s properly pronounce the abomination that would cause the desolation of Jerusalem

Dean Brown is exactly right… it’s an abomination that causes desolation. And God will consume the desolator at the appointed time. Which is why the desolator in Dan 9 can’t possibly be Christ!

    Antiochus Epiphanies set a statue of Zeus, with his head on the statue, inside the temple, and declared himself to be the god of gods;
sacrificed a pig on the alter, and splattered the pigs blood all over the temple, defining it.
He outlawed Sabbath day worship, Scriptures, festivals, etc. And demanded under penalty of death observance to pagan rites and rituals, ceremonies, and convocations.
I believe we will see such a display of blashemey and abomination again before the appearance of Messiah.

    >>>The latest & final revelation of the risen Jesus is in the book of Revelation:
Rev 1-3 : Jesus stern message to the 7 Churches.
Rev 4 : Church rapture of the dead & alive in Christ, as represented by John.
Rev 5-18 7-yr tribulation or Jacob’s troubles with 2 OT prophets & 144,000 Jewish evangelists to confirm Daniel 9 :27 & to the unbelieving Jews, period !!! Many left behind church fence-sitters/doubters & all unbelievers from all religions after witnessing the said rapture will cry out to Jesus to save them & many new believers will be martyred & immediately resurrected & are called tribulation saints.
Rev 19-21 Jesus returns to earth to Mt Olives together with His Church Bride for the millennium Kingdom together with the saved remnant Jews & tribulation saints. Satan, demons & all unbelievers will be cast into the hell of fire forever.
Rev 22 New earth & new heaven for all believers ( Gentiles & Jews ).

The abomination of desolation is when the Antichrist sits on the throne and claims to be God and the Jews turn against the Antichrist.

Serena Monroe – the first half of your sentence is correct – the second half you are making up – instead of believing what Jesus says comes next – the great worldwide persecution of His followers. Matthew 24:15,9-10.

Stephen FY Teng – EVERYTHING that Jesus says is true – He did not change the truth from Matthew 24 to Revelation – everything that He says in Matthew 24 is exactly true – including that there is no rapture before the great worldwide persecution – Jesus NEVER says that He comes back twice more – just once more. The church of Revelation is no different than His followers of Matthew 24 – His true church – His brothers and sisters – consist only of those who actually do His will – which includes to believe everything that He says.

This was 66 AD and they heeded Jesus command. They fled Jerusalem and moved to Pella, Jordan under Symeon.

The key word is DESOLATION. If the invasion by abominable pagan Roman soldiers could make the land of ancient Palestine or Israel and its Holy City of Jerusalem a desolate place, then today’s invasion of the world by demonic and abominable practices of homosexuality even into the church and holy places must signal to believers that this is the end because war or invasion reduces a nation to DESOLATION just as modern obnoxious amoral practices of legalised abortions and homosexuality etc., can make the earth desolate through extinction of the human race. These surely are the End times!

Steve the Jews believe the Antichrist is God to begin with but at this particular point in time they turn against the Antichrist. You are wrong my friend

Serena Monroe – it is you who are wrong my friend. Why? Because you do not believe Jesus – an eternally fatal mistake. Jesus says that He is talking to His followers – not the Jews – in Matthew 24. I believe Him.
