Most of what I learned about divine healing in early 1970’s came from Catholics and Episcopalians.

Is once healed always healed or could the demon return back? David Lewayne Porter

Catholics in Italy often see an exorcist at least monthly. Some churches in Indiana have prayers for deliverance each service often for the same people including the pastors.

      Have you not read,
      Mark 9:25
When Jesus saw that the people came running together, he rebuked the foul spirit, saying unto him, Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I charge thee,
      *come out of him*,
      and
      *enter no more into him*.
WOW!, Jesus commanded the spirit to not ever return….

And yet Jesus said this of some people and some spirits,,,,
      Luke 11:24-26
When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he saith, I will return unto my house whence I came out. And when he cometh, he findeth it swept and garnished. Then goeth he, and taketh to him seven other spirits more wicked than himself; and they enter in, and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first.
      (You quoted this one).

It must really cause confusion when scripture does not fit your theology.

It was mentioned the other day on a post that disease was not caused by spirits but by din after the fall.
      I Agree with that.
But some diseases are demonic in nature – as scripture bears out.

Here is a question about diseases being caused by sin after the fall,,
      When did demon possession start?
Was it not the result of sin and after the fall?

      Blessings,

The scripture fits demonology perfect it just does not say what you want it to say and we need to move pass that

Robert Borders I for one dont believe every sickness is a demon and completely reject demonetization of the flesh / body only but not the spiritual part of man – Biblically impossible David Lewayne Porter

{him} represents the whole person body and spirit not just the body as you claim

      So you say,
Man is a spirit, that possesses a soul, that lives in a body.

      1 Thessalonians 5:23
And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Anything touching one of those areas effects the person [him] as you pointed out.

If you don’t think one area can be effected while others are not,
      Then lets test your theology….

      1 Corinthians 6:18
Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.

      ?
How does one sin without the (their) [him/his] body?

      Your comment,
“{him} represents the whole person body and spirit not just the body as you claim”

      Where did his soul go?
Is there a reason you omitted it?
      Was it intentional?

The soul was in the body where it belongs. Therefore your claim that only the flesh was possessed makes no Biblical sense

Have you (personally) studied all of Jesus’ healing miracles?
I mean straight from the scriptures not from someone else’s book or teaching?
Have you studied the casting out of demons, spirits, and the like?
You do realize that in studying demonology that demon is not mentioned in the Bible (if we are dealing with straight forward scripture).
      Unless you are counting
      4151 pneuma pnyoo’-mah
of which demon is one of several meanings – and it is farther down the list of meanings.

I have been healed by God plenty of times.First time was at ten months old when I had Whooping cough and Mother said I would turn completely black in the face when I whooped and would lose my breath. My Daddy,Mother and Uncle prayed and asked God to heal me and He did.I have been healed of fevers, sever burns when a gas stove blew up in my face,Gastroitis, nerve problems, back problems.God does still heal and all sicknesses are not demonic.Unless you are full of the Holy Spirit do not try to cast out a demon because they can come out of a person and jump on the unbelievers and go into them.

I did not say all sicknesses are demonic.
Please go read through the thread and my comments.

But biblically some sicknesses are demonic in nature and origin. Sicknesses that only effect the body.
