Presented by the John Templeton Foundation and the USC Center for Religion and Civic Culture, this international symposium examines the global Pentecostal movement. Samuel A. Paul of the USC Center for Religion and Civic Culture moderates. Presenting the video “Pentecostal Social Outreach” and speaking on “Transforming the World: The New Face of Global Pentecostalism” is Donald E. Miller, Leonard K. Firestone Professor of Religion, executive director of the USC Center for Religion and Civic Culture, and director of the USC School of Religion. Speaking on “A Moral Imagination: Pentecostals and Social Concern” is Doug Petersen, Margaret S. Smith Distinguished Professor of Intercultural Studies in Vanguard University.
