How do Christian traditions reconcile the explicit violence of the Old Testament (by the Almighty towards people and by nations against other nations) with the idea of a loving G-d?
Sorry for posting an obviously naïve/ignorant question, but I would appreciate answers with examples.
Also, I would not be surprised, if this is a duplicate of a question already asked.
