I have had this question for years, so I will pose it here. Interested in your comments. Not wanting to build a Temple here or be critical to anyone, but does the term “third person” of the Godhead when referring to Holy Spirit have a true scriptural foundation. I see him in Genesis 1, before Christ and feel it may or could demean him to some in referring to his person in this way. Am I off here?

Interesting and complicated but Christ is a late title but God the Son existed in Gen 1 – see John 1:1 – but hierarchy of the godhead is seen in John 15
