SING A NEW SONG TO THE LORD – Ray E Horton
From my prayer time this morning:
“Sing to Me a New Song from your heart. Sing with gladness. It prepares you to receive from me.”
Thank you Lord! I found that to be so true. In the privacy of my prayer room, or in the shower, or while driving in the car, when I open my heart, He gives me spontaneous music to sing to Him, and the heavy presence of God comes upon me.
You have a New Song
Our song flows from our spirits to our hearts to our lips
You can do that too. Sometimes, singing in the spirit with your prayer language will initiate the New Song.
I believe every person, every entity, even “all the earth” has a New Song. Let us join in with “all the earth” and the elders and the great cloud of witnesses in heaven, adding our song that flows from our spirits to our hearts to our lips.
“O sing unto the Lord a NEW SONG: sing unto the Lord, all the earth” (Psalm 96:1).
“And they sang a NEW SONG, saying: ‘You are worthy to take the scroll, and to open its seals; for You were slain, and have redeemed us to God by Your blood out of every tribe and tongue and people and nation” (Revelation 5:9).
