A DIFFERENT KIND OF WILDFIRE – Ray E Horton

The devastating wildfires that are happening more and more in California and elsewhere destroy and sometimes kill. So also, the wildfires of hatred and anger that are inspired by the devil. They spread uncontrollably.

The Fire of the Holy Spirit

The wind of the Spirit blows as He wills, spreading the godly fire setting people on fire for God and the things of God

But there is another wildfire, the fire of the Holy Spirit – the wind of the Spirit blows as He wills, spreading the godly fire setting people on fire for God and the things of God.

The results of God’s wildfire are different, delivering from death and destruction and spreading love and salvation and motivation to establish God’s Kingdom in the hearts of men and women.

The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit” (John3:8).

“…He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire” (Matt. 3:11).

When the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place. And suddenly there came from heaven a noise like a violent rushing wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. And there appeared to them tongues as of fire distributing themselves, and they rested on each one of them (Acts 2:1-3).
