“When the Feast of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. Without warning there was a sound like a strong wind, gale force—no one could tell where it came from. It filled the whole building. Then, like a wildfire, the Holy Spirit spread through their ranks, and they started speaking in a number of different languages as the Spirit prompted them.”

I want the wildfire! Do you?

I like the wildfires however we don’t have a “brother” (I Cor 12:1) who knows how to scripturally lead the people. We don’t have any Peters in leadership. Corinth had wildfires and no “brother” to lead and explain scriptures.

When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. 2 Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. 4 All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues[a] as the Spirit enabled them.

I use all by the KJV. I do not get into the translations war…after all. it is the Holy Spirit than leads us into truth; not the bible 🙂

Peter was the “brother” who gave guidance, meaning and direction.

The Holy Spirit is a good leader without man’s help.

It is the Holy Spirit who give power and endue-ment and it will be men who rightly divide scriptural guidance.

Authority comes from intimacy not man. I known many leaders with no authority. They could not heal a cold.

any believer can pray the prayer of healing faith, he doesn’t have to wear preacher’s clothes.

Peter was part of the company that was there…. he was not over them. He just happened to be the one that spoke.

God does not care about your degrees. He uses people who are high school drops outs. The people that are hardest to get to recieve from the Spirit is seminary grads!

A seminary degree keeps God from getting close to you. The more the degrees the more He moves away. …by degrees!!
