ARE FUTURE SINS FORGIVEN? http://www.pentecostaltheology.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/08/i-cannot-find-a-scripture-in-the-bible-that-states.jpg #Pentecostal #Christian #CHURCH

Hebrews 10:10,14,18. Mark 1:4,8 (I could go on all night- this is a start) Hope it helps- God Bless.

Yeah that helps thanks, hebrews was a good one

I was looking for the scripture: “The Lamb that was slain before the foundation of the world.”

Peter I think

An interesting one is Rev. 22:11-13 Linear time does not exist in eternity. You are in one state of being or another. John 18:36

Our LORD died for all and for all sin. HE PAID IT ALL. Nothing is left to do for us but to come and get his own. AMEN.

Nothing is left to do!!! substitutionary atonement

if God dont know about them did Jesus die for all future sins too? Ricky Grimsley

If you believe that God paid for a specific amount of sins that he foreknows……(which I dont). The atonement covers every sin but isnt activated until the new birth and confession. Thats why if any sins we have an advocate with the father. Its an ongoing process.

yes on the specific amount => ALL (1 John 2:2) http://www1.cbn.com/questions/did-jesus-die-for-the-sins-of-every-person-who-ever-lived

Here you go: Justification of the future!

Heb 10:10 does not refer to any future sins. It simple reads that Christ offered his body only at one time for all men as sinners in order that those forgiven (“we”; faith and repentance assumed) would be set apart, to serve God cp. 9:24-28).

v.14: Again, future sins are not being forgiven; there is nothing in the text re: future sins. It reads, emphasizing the one offering, men are made *perfect* (“a one-time event with a continuing result”), that is, complete fit for God’s purposes, as they are being continually sanctified (or, purified), progressing in further holiness.

v.18: All that is stated here is simply that no further sacrifice is necessary for sins already forgiven. However, the reference gives no indication that future sins are being contemplated.

From a logical standpoint, let me just say:

(a) For sins to be forgiven they must be committed in order to incur guilt. Since future sins are not committed, no guilt is incurred by them.

(b) Christ died for actual sins committed, not potential sins. That one may possibly commit sins in the future only allows for the possibility of those sins being forgiven.

(c) Which brings us further to the point that only sins repented of are forgiven. Since future sins are not only not committed and incur no guilt, repentance is unnecessary.

All our sins are forgiven when we repent. The future hasn’t gotten here yet. You can’t commit sin until you get there. But when we get to the future , all through our lives. If we sin. We will have to repent. Anytime sin is committed, past, present, or future. If you sin. You have to repent, if you want to go with The Lord when He comes. The Bible brings it out. When they are standing at the WHITE THRON OF JUDGEMENT. There was some came by that didn’t make it. They said Lord, I have prophesied in Your Name. And a lot of good things. He said , depart , I never knew you. I thought on this. Jesus says when He forgives our sins. The inlet says He doesn’t remember them against us any more. I thought, my opinion. Could it be if we live a great life for The Lord, prophesying , praying for the sick. And a lot of good things for God. And we go back into sin. The good things we did before we go back on God. Did He not Remember them any more. And cast out those he did t remember any more.

Troy Day I believe there is judicial forgiveness and parental forgiveness. Judicial forgiveness deals with sin’s penalty and parental forgiveness deals with sin’s consequences. Hebrews 12 5-12. Sin does not nullify his displeasure but his correction chastens who he loves for their good.

Troy Day looking at 1 John 1:9 doesn’t refer to regeneration rather than a spiritual washing. Being already a believer you are saved. David In Psalm 32 he was already saved being a believer the sin affected him physically only through confession was he relieved.

All sin has consequences, if you take drugs, smoke, or drive foolishly then your sin may be forgiven but but you may still kill yourself early or suffer physically and of course make others suffer too.
