SUNSHINE AND CLOUDS – A word from the Lord – Ray E Horton

During my communion/prayer time this morning the Lord spoke this word to my heart:

“I enjoy the sunshine too. Clouds are needed to bring needed rain. Both sunlight and rain are needed for life and growth.

But then, there is good rain and bad: The steady and sure rain, like the rain of My Spirit, and the storms that cause harm.

Likewise, fire is good for warmth, cooking and lots of things, when controlled. But, wildfires burn down the forests.

The Holy Fire that comes with My Spirit motivates and empowers you, making people on fire for My ways. But then, there are wildfires of zeal without knowledge, not tempered with My Word.

You have My Spirit and can easily discern the rain and the fire.

What do you see when the fire of the sun is appearing along with rain – a rainbow – My promise of good from the rain and the sun, yes, from My Spirit and My Son. Together they bring growth and beauty, the flowers of life. ~ March 27, 2020.
