Thank you – that link works – love Perry Stone but my attention span is grinding to a halt when Hosea is used to liken the United States to Israel – the real comparison to Israel is the body of Christ in a locality.

Perry is a dispensationalist when it comes to the rapture (correct) but is all mixed up about the Church, churches and Israel.

I am not really sure to tell you the truth. He speaks more of ages than dispensations. Some would say he is, but then he is Pentecostal. As Pentecostals we cannot limit the work of the Holy Spirit to just one dispensation, as He works throughout the whole eternity. To restrict Him would make us baptist and very, very secessional #NOTaBAPTIcostal

I think you are commingling cessationism (error) with dispensationalism (truth that sees a distinction in OT and NT)

Dispensationalism is a baptist influence on Pentecostal theology that needs to be dealt away with

Dispensationalism – the concept that Israel and the Church are different and that Israel still has a future in God’s plan was refined by many bible students such as the proto Pentecostal Edward Irving and James Nelson Darby of the Plymouth Brethren. It has always been an integral part of the Full Gospel which sometimes has beef termed the 4 fold gospel (Foursquare ; Four Cardinal truths, etc.)

One of those 4 has always been the imminent Rapture. This is supported by a dispensational (literalist) approach to scripture.

It is not limited to Baptist at all.

Pentecostals like perry stone are usually dispensational to one degree or another without even knowing it.
