Dear Prayer Partner,
I want to encourage you to join with us for a Day of Prayer for Britain on Saturday 8 September, 10:00am-6.00pm at Central Hall Westminster, London. Tickets are still available on this link.
I realise not everyone is able to travel to London; there is no distance in prayer, you can join us in prayer wherever you live, and for those of you who are unable to commit to the full day, please pray for whatever period of time is appropriate for you.
Our only hope for Britain is through prayer. As in the War when God answered, He will again today – but we need to call every Christian – every concerned individual to pray. Pray at home, in your church, in groups in your town or city, join a national prayer group. Your prayer is effective.
The Apostle Paul implored: ‘Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s Will for you who belong to Christ Jesus. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results. Elijah was as human as we are, and yet when he prayed earnestly that no rain would fall, none fell for three and a half years! Then, when he prayed again, the sky sent down rain and the earth began to yield its crops.’ (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18; James 5:16-18)
Thank you,
David
