Pope Francis: Accept Change Or Face Death”

“Anyone who attempts to construe a personal view of God which conflicts with Church dogma must be burned without pity.” – Pope Innocent III

As you might have noticed, that was a different pope than the one today. His message was more direct to the mass people. In the next few months, the Pope is expected to release a post-Synodal Apostolic Exhortation In it he is expected to decide on the question of Communion for divorced and remarried Catholics, and on the proposal to give bishops conferences doctrinal authority. Some observers also think the pope may address the question of homosexuality and language.

This is a somewhat more reliable source, if anyone wishes to quote from what Pope Francis. I’m still working through the many ramifications here. My prayer is that a genuine renewal of the charismatic renewal would sweep the Church. I fear it may not happen. A GENUINE charismatic renewal is not only faithful to Church teaching, but is devoted, obedient and actively listening to what the Holy Spirit is saying moment by moment. My concern is that the praxis of the Church has become too diverse; we have folks who think that saving the planet is the way to holiness (zero carbon immisiions etc.) and others, like myself, who believe our task is to reflect Jesus in an ‘other-worldly’ sense, and to prepare for a kingdom that is NOT of this world (order of things). There is much confusion over the words world / age / earth. They cannot be interpreted by personal whim, but need careful exergesis with reference to the Greek. http://en.radiovaticana.va/news/2016/01/18/pope_francis_obstinate_christians_are_rebels_and_idolaters/1201825

This man needs to read God’s Word and accept and realize God is the only way.
