We have received numerous reports of Christians who are experiencing heavy mental warfare and oppression. Last night about 2:30 the Lord spoke to me about breaking the word curses the occult is speaking and the incantations they are using this month. The satanists and witches both confess they are uniting to hinder everyone from ministers to the President. But I have a word for you!

In 1980 a young Satanists attended my Northport revival and was delivered from demonic influence, because her group had attempted to curse me out of town and the curses spoken were coming back at the group and making them sick. Here is the word from the Lord!

When Ballam attempted to curse Israel, the words failed because Ballam admitted, “You cannot curse what the Lord has blessed!” The NT tells us that “Christ has redeemed us from the curse…” A curse only works if you are in fear and not faith and if you do not expose it and send it back.

This entire weekend, we as believers need to rebuke the influence of demonic activity and command the words curses spoken return to the sender (Psa. 64). The blood of Jesus is far more powerful than the blood of a voodoo chicken or a dead goat! The false prophets of Baal could not produce fire from their dead god and Elijah prayed to Yahvah and the fire fell!

Also, part of our mental pressure is this is a major election cycle, and I have tracked this for 24 years that on every major election cycle the atmosphere shifts before the election. A spirit of heaviness and oppression blankets the nation. There has never been more liars and haters in DC than there are now, especially among the left. Such hatred opens the doors to the demonic, and sadly, they don’t even know it. Remember our GOD is greater and use your WORDS which release spiritual authority in the great name of Yeshua the Christ! Jesus is Lord! RETURN THE CURSE TO THE SENDER!

SO I’ve been wanting to comment on this one all day but just getting a chance Link Hudson I am tagging you because you’ve shown some concern in spiritual deliverance I think it was Joe Absher who sent it Robert Borders what do you think after reading it?

So I see Link Hudson is staying out of this one and rightfully so. Simple cherry picking BIBLE verses will not work here. Ricky Grimsley will probably attest that I like ol’ Perry, but several things confuse me in this here brief statement he just made

First OFF, great timing. Witching seasons is upon us. {I may even dress up like Charles Page on the 31st Alan Smith 😉

But now satanists and witches both confess they are uniting to hinder to the President? Shall a kingdom divided stands? Nelson Banuchi

Then there is the Ballam reference “You cannot curse what the Lord has blessed!” but can they curse Christians who have sinned and separated from God to put themselves under sin? Then a curse does not only work with fear but with sin too

Then we have the “Yahvah” spelling that Tom Steele and others may not approve

Finally a spiritual warfare over the election cycle tracked this for 24 years sounds more like Wallnau

The major election cycle the atmosphere shifts before the election is called Hurricane season in this part of our hemisphere and happens every year about this time NOT just during election seasons. For most Elections are just scheduled in the fall

We also may need some more STRONG New Testament support for a prayer like: Lord! RETURN THE CURSE TO THE SENDER!

I don’t really have much of an opinion on this one way or another. It sounds really ‘charismatic’ to me. It’s not really the way I think, but I am not going to come out against this year.

I don’t know why anyone would use a ‘v’ in Yahweh, or why he goes with a different vowel there. The believe is that it was originally a ‘w’ sound, and Ashkenazi Jews pronounce it as a ‘v’ but it is still transliterated with a ‘w’ even if you use that pronunciation. So why change the spelling.

I am saying, as I have before, that Jehovah/Yehovah is a fake name based on misunderstanding. Yes, if you are to write it out like that I suppose it would be pronounced like that. The problem is that it was NEVER supposed to be written like that in the first place. So, in that sense, NO, God’s name is not supposed to be pronounced as Jehovah/Yehovah.

    • Reply October 14, 2018

The letters YUD HEY VAV HEY (YHWH) stand for the 4 Hebrew consonants in the name of GOD The letter VAV is pronounced “V” and the whole name is prnounced YEHOVAH.

A further source for evidence in cuneiform is the Murashu texts.

The Murashu texts are Aramaic texts written in cuneiform script on clay tablets found at Nippur.
These texts date back to 464 to 404 B.C.E. and contain many Jewish names transcribed in cuneiform with the vowels and contain divine name in the name.
first portion of which appears as YEHO just as in yehoVAH

Troy Day From taking classes at the religion dapartment at UGA, including a bit of Hebrew, from conversations with a Hebrew prof who studied in Israel where he also did personal evangelism, and other readings, my impression is that it is generally accepted that the most likely pronunciation was Yahweh. The v sound from Yiddish influence. My professor said the oroginal pronunciation was likely W. I believe this may be supported by hisorical linguistics. The name Iehovah from taking the vowels underneath does not match the pattern of how the vowel pointing system works and has been traced back to one Italian monk who likely did not know the vowels from Adonai were put there by the Masoretes so as to deter people from saying the divine name. My understanding is that these are ‘majority scholarship’ positions.

My Hebrew proff taught is to read waw as ‘vav’ and explained that seminaries snd Bible colleges often lronounced it vav and taight people to print the old script instead of writing in modern Hebrew cursive.

This however does NOT change the fact that the Heb. letter VAV is pronounced VAV

Troy Day, so do you think the Ancient Hebrews said sukkus or sukkot? Come on. Ashkenazic pronunciation is all mixed up with High German. I learned about this at the undergraduate level-second hand, but i’d venture to guess the w/v mix-up most likely comes from the Germanic influence. My prof might have even said that. I might have even asked the question. This was over 20 years ago.

This is the Sephardic/middle eastern tradition of pronunciation of the alphabet: . Arabaic says waw using the ‘W’ sound, not ‘vav’. It’s a Semitic language.

Ashkenazic pronunciation has more letters that have the same pronunciation than Sephardic. From a linguistics perspective, languages tend to simplify, so it is more likely the Sephardic pronunciation retained more original pronunciation than Ashkenazic. Their pronunciation may have been influenced by Arabic, not German. But Arabic is a Semitic language, and so may have been a lot closer to the original pronunciation of Hebrew to begin with.

Syriac also has a ‘w’ sound, not ‘v’.

Here is another bit of evidence, the fact that Phonecian, a language closely related to Hebrew used their waw sound as the vowel ‘u’. How are they going to do that with the letter v?
      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0zZs6rchslY

Can you name one Semitic language where the waw is
pronounced like a ‘w’ outside of the Ashkenazi, Germanic influenced accent of Hebrew? Can you name one serious linguistics scholar who says historically it was ‘vav’?

Syrian communities using the voiced fricative v sound likesome evidence. That was the 1800’s though and it is possible there was some imigration from northern Europe even back then. I would want to consider arguments from historical linguists and how W/V was handled in the High German that evolved into Yiddish.

This site says the original pronunciation was w.

There was a consonant shift in High German which shifted W to V. https://linguistics.stackexchange.com/questions/22872/when-did-the-sounds-of-w-and-v-change-in-high-german

Yiddish derived from high German. Yiddish was the language of Ashkenazi Jews.

except if you see the V vs W in HEBREW as magical power shift in October you are way off topic. If you see my initial comment I also expressed concerns with the V used by Perry thought VAV is pretty common V sound and has nothing in high German If anything some V are pronounced as B like in Bethshebbaah, Baal, Babylon and so on but this is ALL way off topic. Except of course you see magical power shift from using V instead of W Also not sure how to indicate talking to you without using the mention option which you have now blocked

Anna Zambelli See the New Testament. If you believe that you can curse someone then you are working with the wrong spirit. The Holy Spirit came to help us testify of Christ and to bring people to Christ. When the apostles wanted to make fire fall down from heaven and consume the cities were their message was rejected, Christ said: you don’t know to which Spirit you belong to. When sending curses, witches use demons to go and afflict people, so you want to send those same demons to the people? Unscriptural, diabolical and dangerous.

The versus I got from derek Prince’s book: Deuteronomy chapter 7 verse 25 to 26, Deuteronomy chapter 30 verse 19, Deuteronomy chapter 28 verse 45 to 46; proverbs chapter 18 verse 21. Reply October 30, 2018

      Gerardo de Dominicis

I read those verses and aren’t about Christians sending curses back to the original sender. Those verses are about being holy, to choose life (God), that God would curse the Israelites if they don’t follow the law, then the text in proverbs isn’t about curses nor anything like that, the text in James is about Christians with a dirty mouth (like saying “damn” or “you damn” when talking to others) which actually contradict the teaching of sending curses back.

Romans 12:9-21 is very clear about the christian behavior and specially verses 9, 14 and 17; also we read in Luke 9:51-56 how Jesus reprended the apostles for trying to damage the lives of some people; in Job 1:9 we read that God protects his children and if any damage occurs is because God ley is happened for a specific reason and furthermore in Mathew 5:39-44 we read Jesus words about what he expect from us and he specifically said: to don’t curse but to bless. So sending curses back to its sender isn’t biblical and contradicts the teachings of Jesus and Paul.
