Never seen a healing service?

A special invitation to those of you who may have never seen a healing service in the setting of a liturgical church: : this Saturday, Oct 24th I will be leading a workshop, “Every Christian a Healing Evangelist, and Every Church a Place of Healing,” at the Church of Our Redeemer, in Camden NC (near the Virginia border). It is a wonderful church. The rector, the Rev. Craig Stephens has developed a terrific staff and healing ministry there already. He has invited me to encourage and boost lay persons to do “marketplace” healing ministry. This is a real workshop, not just a lecture time. There will be many prayer exercises and opportunities for significant healing to take place. It will end with a Eucharist service for healing. Bring someone who has a healing need and watch God do a great work. Please register at the linked website. The folks there need to know how many are coming (lunch will be provided). If you can stay overnight at a local motel in Elizabeth City, I will be preaching at the Sunday service, with more opportunities for healing.
