Reply January 8, 2019 Guest; I disagree There is one too many Reply January 8, 2019 Guest; I pray that God will begin to raise men and women who want to look like Jesus… Reply January 8, 2019 Guest; to make a statement like that one must FIRST define what exactly is a Pentecostal theologians? Is Link a Pentecostal theologians? If yes, why – if no, why not? Isara Mo disagrees? Reply January 8, 2019 Guest; A theologian is somewhat hard to define. I am reading a book by Jon Meacham called : AMERICAN GOSPEL, God the Founding Fathers, and the Making of A Nation. Meacham is not thought of as a theologian but yet he dug deep into what each of the founding fathers believed and how they perceived the world. ( None of the founders would feel comfortable in a pentecostal church.) Reply January 8, 2019 Guest; Robert Erwine your argument is without merit. Joel Osteen preaches smooth things and doesn’t get stoned for it. Mormons and JW’s preach error and dont get stoned or killed for it. Reply January 8, 2019 Guest; There’s many, many out there…you haven’t run across them yet. This website recommends many… just ask Troy Day! Reply January 8, 2019 Guest; What kind of Pentecostal church are you talking about? Is it United Pentecostal(UPC)Jesus only,or Pentecostal Holiness,or every church that believes in receiving the Holy Ghost with speaking in tongues?I’m just asking? Archer generation IMO and only focus on mainline American denominations which are NOT the only ones doing Pentecostal theology any longer Also Dr. Terry Cross Dr. Paul King Dr. Amos Yong: Dr. Vinson Synan: Dr. Donald W. Dayton Dr. William DeArteaga Dr. Tony Richie Dr. Jon Ruthven Dr. Andrew Gabriel: Dr. Kimberly Alexander all part of this group but that’s just my c2 of course Reply January 9, 2019 Guest; “Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.” – Jude vs. 3 For my part I’m happy to have found this group. (Actually I think I was drafted) but it’s a real blessing and frankly I don’t know to much theology. Unless you mean sound doctrine. Reconciliation redemption and righteousness by faith in Jesus Christ. So I’m glad we have some pentecostal theologians. I appreciate their thoughtfulness and intelligence. Even if I disagree with them sometimes. We are the “people of the Book” after all. The church needs studious devoted people in Christian education and in the broader community. So In short yes, please, Lord continue your good work in raising up men and women for the cause of Christ and his kingdom. Give them grace ability and courage in Jesus name!
