Fr. Francis MacNutt was perhaps the lead figure in the Catholic Charismatic Renewal. He learned his healing theology from Agnes Sanford at CFO camps, where he later was a featured speaker. Here is his story. Share this posting with Catholic brethren to bless them.

Francis MacNutt is another writer on the Christian healing ministry who associates sin with disability. MacNutt explicitly names disabilities as a sickness and goes on to say ‘Our physical sickness, far from being a redemptive blessing, is often a sign that we are not totally redeemed, not whole at a spiritual level’. Does this mean separation of body vs soul in demonization? Robert Borders
