It depends on which culture you’re talking about. In Kenya a large majority of people get saved in open-air crusades. Currently in America they do not have large format evangelism in a majority of out reach efforts. Mostly what goes on in the United States is “revivalism.“

Too often, when we are trying to win the lost, we are all talk and no action. But, if we have the Holy Spirit, it is the demonstration of the power of God through us that will bring results. “My speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, so that your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God” (1 Cor. 2:4-5).
