Reply May 21, 2020 Neil Steven Lawrence People in the developed scientific world don’t believe the devil or demons exist. That means Satan has already won the war against them. People in the developing world have no problem realizing the effects of demons … they deal with it regularly. Reply May 21, 2020 Troy Day what do you think on this one Brontë Hauptmann Reply May 21, 2020 Brontë Hauptmann Demons are real, possession real and casting out demons is real, I’ve done it Reply May 21, 2020 Brontë Hauptmann most Christians are toast Reply May 21, 2020 Troy Day Brontë Hauptmann have you done it to Christians ? Reply May 21, 2020 Rob Erto Sucked? That’s an odd statement. Reply May 21, 2020 Troy Day give us a better one Reply May 21, 2020 Rob Erto Troy Day trying to understand what you’re talking about. Reply May 21, 2020 Troy Day hey De’Anna Sepulvado talk is cheap Since you didnt read Barth or Unger your theology is questionable BUT I will be happy to answer ANY NT verse you got to back your frontology Pls post them all in separate comments so there will be NO confusion and we will address them. BTW Neil Steven Lawrence will tell you right the way that ANY good missionary actually doing missions work has encountered demonized folk in their church It is what it is Reply May 21, 2020 De'Anna Sepulvado Troy Day Dude, you’re still not getting it…True Christian’s do not lean on the word of man…they lean on the Holy Word of God…I don’t listen to any man when I can go to God…which part do you not understand??? And if you call that talking cheap than I have nothing else to say to you…I use God’s Holy Word to back everything I say when I speak of Him…I suppose you think His Word is cheap? Again, to say that a Christian can be possessed by demons is calling God a liar…is that what you are doing? Sounds like it to me…because you are dismissing parts of Gods Word for your argument and whatever you say, you cannot dismiss, delete, whatever any part of Gods Word for your convenience. Do not ask me to listen to any sinner again…unless you can prove your argument using Gods Word…then your argument is void and false. 👋🙄 bye Reply May 21, 2020 Troy Day De’Anna Sepulvado like I was thinking – you are just another escape artists in a theological group NO real theology to back your claims This should have been clear when you ignore Barth, Unger and of course the BIBLE – oh well Good luck with running away from a true Biblical conversation BTW check yourself for demons too 🙂 Reply May 21, 2020 De'Anna Sepulvado You truly are ignorant…I’m guessing you either can’t read or you have no comprehension of what anybody says unless it agrees with your idols. READ VERY CAREFULLY This group is called Christian apologetics, Christian’s go by the Christian Bible…ok? So, if what you say does not align with God’s Word, then it will be dismissed as false. And I am not addressing anyone else here, I am addressing you, so I will respond appropriately, by acknowledging your comment and answering. You need to open the Bible and find a verse that says Christian’s can be possessed by demons, but you won’t and neither will your little idols either. If you do not follow Gods Word nor believe it to be God’s inspired Word, then why are you even here? You’re not going to find a True Bible believing Christian who is going to believe a word you say here. 🙄 Reply May 21, 2020 De'Anna Sepulvado Troy Day and if anyone is going to have demons, it’s going to be the one who believes they can be possessed by them…I have the Holy Spirit dwelling in me who is GREATER than any demon…you can call God a liar all day. It still doesn’t change His Word. 👋😉 Reply May 21, 2020 Isara Mo De’Anna Sepulvado Strange doctrine you have. The Holy Spirit in dwells the spirit part of the man who has a second birth (born again) but the soulish part which we got from the first birth ftom parents with all its residues(demons) , need refreshing.. a casting away. If the Holy Spirit can’t co exist with demons how does He co exist with sin?. Christians do have demons and not only Christians but “born again Christians”.. Salvation is not not an electrical insulation against demonic attacks or invasion.. DE Anna(?) Reply May 21, 2020 De'Anna Sepulvado Isara Mo God cannot coexist with sin, where do you get that he coexists with sin? Reply May 21, 2020 Isara Mo De’Anna Sepulvado Do you have ANY knowledge of demons?. Have you ever cast out a demon.. in a church with toungue speaking members? I have done for years and have no qualms that demons do I dwell believers and if you miss that your apologetics defence is weak Reply May 21, 2020 De'Anna Sepulvado Isara Mo then you call God a liar aswell…btw, I understand God can look upon evil and sin etc but He does not coexist with it. He hates evil and sin. Reply May 21, 2020 De'Anna Sepulvado Isara Mo and just like I tell Troy, you better come with Gods Word…or your argument is void and false. Reply May 21, 2020 Isara Mo De’Anna Sepulvado Weren’t Ananias and Safira born again believers? Why did they lie to the Holy Spirit in them by holding back a part of the proceeds from a holy sale? Greed. Is greed a sin? Yes. It indwelled the two believers in the presence of an annointed man of God, Peter.. The Ananias Safira is from God’s Word. FALSE teachers and preachers are plenty in churches nowadays. What kind of spirit operates in them?.. Reply May 21, 2020 De'Anna Sepulvado Isara Mo False teachers are not Christian’s 🤷🏻♀️ Reply May 21, 2020 De'Anna Sepulvado Isara Mo 1 John 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. If you say a Christian can be possessed then you say a demon has equal power or just plainly call God a liar. Reply May 21, 2020 Isara Mo De’Anna Sepulvado Dear sister De’Anna when Jesus called you were you holy? No you were a sinner like me and Troy and others. He gave us the Holy Spirit while we were sinner’s with our sin bodies so that He the Holy Spirit can sanctify us. So the Holy Spirit indwells a sin body to make it holy by and thru sanctification. Yes God does co exist in the body of sin and not out of it so as to make it holy. Reply May 21, 2020 De'Anna Sepulvado Isara Mo No, the minute I was reborn as a Christian, I became a child of God, do I fail, yes…am I a sinner, not in Gods eyes. When I enter heaven, it is the righteous blood of Jesus that my Holy Father sees, not me nor my flesh. Reply May 21, 2020 De'Anna Sepulvado Isara Mo and no…that verse 1 John 4:4 destroys this whole argument. Reply May 21, 2020 De'Anna Sepulvado Isara Mo you cannot dismiss it to prove your case…if a demon dwells in you…along with the Holy Spirit who is God…according to that verse, they have equal power and the demon is nolonger of the world. Reply May 21, 2020 De'Anna Sepulvado Isara Mo Tell me what that verse means…1 John 4:4 Reply May 21, 2020 Isara Mo De’Anna Sepulvado A human being is a tripartite being with a body soul and spirit(it is scriptural 1Thessa 5 23) At conversation the spirit part of the man(not the soul or body) is re generated. This is because God indwells man as a spirit by the Holy Spirit and revives that part of man which died when Adam sinned. Adam lived in a body with a soul for 930 years then died. So if we agree that man is a tripartite bring we can understand the theology of demons. Lets take an example of a house for rent with three rooms occupied by three different tenants. Let’s mark room A as Spirt. Room B as Soul Room C as Body. The house is one but the occupants are different.. Such is the situation of the human constitution. The Holy Spirit occupies the first floor. Then demons the second The third floor is the ground floor by which demons can come in or go out. Makes sense? No… Can’t simplify my explanation more than that Reply May 21, 2020 De'Anna Sepulvado Isara Mo where is a verse from God’s Word that states all that you just said? I will remind you, just like I remind everyone else, a Christian is a follower of Christ and we stand on His Holy Word, if it’s not in God’s Word then it is false. But I have already given a verse that IS in God’s Word that debunks the belief for demons coexisting with the Holy Spirit in one body. And one that you seem to be dodging 🤷🏻♀️ Reply May 21, 2020 Isara Mo De’Anna Sepulvado I John 4:4 is speaking of Jesus in the form of the Holy Spirit.Nothing is powerful than this person. Remember Jesus told the disciples that He will send the Holy Spirit who will live IN THEM(disciples? forever?) That is my understanding. Jesus is seated at the right hand of the Father in Heaven but as the Holy Spirit he indwells the believer.. Greater than he who is in the world (the devil.. Have I explained it right? I love to learn. Reply May 21, 2020 Troy Day SURE De’Anna Sepulvado and YET you have presented exactly 0 christian apologia so far for your claims Just common talk, personal attacks and name calling There is ONE Bible verse I would like to share with you Reply May 21, 2020 Isara Mo De’Anna Sepulvado I love your stand and argument. It is not only yours but it is a theological standpoint of many preachers teachers and believers. It is a matter of faith and doctrine. Some years back I met an old friend who had a theology like yours. He was a learned man of God with two degrees of theology He said that in their church they didn’t believe a Christian could have demons. He invited me to his church to preach and teach and there believers with demons. May I with all due respect end this conversation and may the Lord God give you enlightenment on this truth. :demons do I dwell believers. Reply May 21, 2020 De'Anna Sepulvado Isara Mo it is not just the disciples but WHOSOEVER believes. John 3:16 and yes, once truly saved the Holy Spirit (God) moves into you. You are then sealed as a Child of God and being that God is greater than Satan and all demons, then only God can dwell inside a Christian. A demon can oppress but cannot possess a Holy Spirit sealed and saved Christian. Reply May 21, 2020 Troy Day De’Anna Sepulvado another heresy? how do you know the ones truly saved from the ones not so truly saved? Reply May 21, 2020 De'Anna Sepulvado Isara Mo if you have ever come across a person who professed the name of Jesus, yet was filled with demons then that person was not a true Christian. Jesus warns of those that come in His name. The book of Matthew speaks on false teachers and prophets that profess His name but are sheep in wolves clothing, this goes for false converts aswell. There will be many who believe themselves to be Christian, that will not make it to heaven. And yes, Satan can walk right up in the church just like he does heaven…that does not make him more powerful than God, that just means he is allowed by God. The church that Satan is allowed to walk into is simply a materialistic building…but Satan is not allowed into the true church, which is every true God fearing Child of God. Reply May 21, 2020 Isara Mo I have listened to the clip and it seems the “minister” is addressing the demonic ftom a Catholic perspective because he uses the word “exorcism instead of” Casting away”. Jesus nor the apostles didn’t excorcise demons but cast them away. Demonic exorcism is done not only in Islam but many eastern and many pagan religions but in Pentecostal practise they cast out demons. My Bible doesn’t have the word “excorcise”.. Reply May 21, 2020 Troy Day how SAD – ppl talk theological smack on the internet all the tiem Then one day a real theologian comes and confronts them they start cussing and run away like little sisssys Reply May 21, 2020 Isara Mo Troy Day Amen Reply May 21, 2020 De'Anna Sepulvado Isara Mo and I do know the truth, the truth is in Gods Word…because God is truth….denying any part of it, is to deny God. Reply May 21, 2020 Troy Day De’Anna Sepulvado demons believe and profess the name of Jesus ALL the time Why shouldnt demonized ppl? Reply May 21, 2020 Troy Day De’Anna Sepulvado glad you took my word on this one – good and confirmed scripture words for today 1 Cor 14:35 Reply May 21, 2020 Isara Mo Troy Day You can’t save an unsaved Christian but you can deliver a saved Christian Reply May 21, 2020 Isara Mo De’Anna Sepulvado Reply May 21, 2020 De'Anna Sepulvado Troy Day simple, Gods Word tells us exactly how you can know them… The evidence of a true Christian is displayed in both faith and action. “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!” (2 Corinthians 5:17). James says, “I will show you my faith by my works” (James 2:18). Jesus put it this way: “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life” (John 8:12). A true Christian will show his faith by how he lives, if he lives a continual, repetitive lifestyle of sin and claims to be Christian, then he is not truly saved. The Bible defines a true Christian as one who has personally received Jesus Christ as Savior, who trusts in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ alone for forgiveness of sins, who has the Holy Spirit residing within, and whose life evinces change consistent with faith in Jesus and according to His Word. A sign of true salvation is a COMPLETE change, not because of anything you have done but because God changes you, Himself…once saved, He will not let you remain the same. We are told by their fruits we will know them (Matthew 7:16) Jesus does not tell us to examine the fruit for no reason, it is for our safety aswell, so not to be led astray by the wolves in sheeps clothing. Reply May 21, 2020 De'Anna Sepulvado Troy Day I just explained that…to Isara, Satan can walk into the church building and he can blend in with true Christian’s….does that make him a Christian, no. Reply May 21, 2020 Troy Day De’Anna Sepulvado Its a good verse I gave you Take it and live with it GOD bless ! Reply May 21, 2020 De'Anna Sepulvado Isara Mo lol no, first, that is found nowhere in God’s Word and again you call God a liar. But, you can believe what you will 🤷🏻♀️ it is false doctrine when compared to Gods Word. Which means when you share this false doctrine, you are exactly what Jesus speaks of in the book of Matthew. You cannot dismiss 1 John 4:4 just to win an argument…that is prideful…a person who can humble himself long enough to understand what that verse means will then understand the truth…Christians CAN NOT be possessed by Satan…we are sealed by the Holy Spirit. Reply May 21, 2020 De'Anna Sepulvado But I certainly can agree to disagree 😊 Reply May 21, 2020 Troy Day De’Anna Sepulvado not with the BIBLE you cant Reply May 21, 2020 De'Anna Sepulvado Troy Day you are dizzy, dude. You have no clue what I am even talking about 🤦🏻♀️ Reply May 21, 2020 De'Anna Sepulvado Troy Day you seriously need to go read the Christian Bible aka Gods Holy Word and THEN come back and try to debate Christians…it is always best to educate yourself in a subject that you plan to debate before showing your ignorance, as soon as people realize you do not know what you’re talking about, they will not want to entertain you or the trolls will make fun of you. Now, I’m out aswell, hope you take my word and go read and study…atleast to educate yourself. 👋 Leave a Reply Click here to cancel reply.
