Is there evidence that Pat Robertson takes a stance with Kingdom Now theology?

I am afraid there will be no need for that. It was sufficient to answer your question and provide clear information of Pat Robertson and his CBN to kingdom-now dominionism as we did. The dangers of such theology are clear and well shown in this group by both Walter Polasik and Dan Irving

Again we are discussing the theology and not the person, but since you are bringing prayer for Pat and CBN we even more so need to pray for the thousands infected with his unbiblical kingdom-now theology through his media enterprise, political campaigns, financial sponsoring, etc. We can only hope that the mass damage done is not irreversible.

Additionally, bro Polasik has brought our attention to the damaging effect of kingdom-now theology in regard to the current administration. The church is brought under political agendas that are clearly not Christ-like. We have been instructed by some to honor the new emperor before honoring King Jesus. This is dominion mentality at its best and we are to warn the church against it before it is too late. The main danger stated once again is:

establishing an earthly kingdom in God’s name
without Christ the King physically present among us
Many churches before us have fallen in this satanic trap

May the Lord grant us the wisdom to escape and meet our REAL KING JESUS in holiness and purity in which the church should abound instead of earthly treasures, political positions and humanistic powers

Pat Robertson had stated in an interview in the Buffalo News The Church is moving from a millennial viewpoint to a kingdom-now philosophy” (op. cit. Discernment Newsletter Volume 17 Number 2 March/April 2006)

Robertson became part of the word faith movement, uniting with teachers that held to a latter rain perspective with dominion theology. Robertson had claimed to believe in a literal rapture, but also held that there would be a great revival that will result in a godly society run by the Church. In his keynote address to the Dallas `84 convention for Bob Weiners’ Maranatha Campus

Robertson believed just like other dominionists and their eschatological cousin reconstructionists. Jesus will not return until after the Church has taken control of society

“We get ready to take dominion! We get ready to take dominion! It is all going to be ours—I’m talking about all of it. Everything that you would say is a good part of the secular world. Every means of communication, the news, the television, the radio, the cinema, the arts, the government, the finance—it’s going to be ours! God’s going to give it to His people. We should prepare to reign and rule with Jesus Christ.” (Pat Robertson, speech at Dallas ’84. . Op.cit. Vengeance is Ours Al Dager)

Now please compare this statement to the 7 mountain videos by Dan Irving

Walter Polasik Ira Huth Please carefully add to the above information Robertson’s prophetic track record that was broadcasted from the 700 Club. He is known for “God told me” warnings with punishments, disasters and judgment. He is consistently inconsistent in his accuracy. These are a few instances:

Pastor John Hinkle announced on TBN in 1993 that God told him, “On Thursday, June 9 [1994], I will rip the evil out of this world.” Pastor Hinkle’s June 9, prophecy of evil being ripped from the earth was promoted enthusiastically on TV by Paul Crouch, and by Pat Robertson. Years later and we see how accurate this message of joy actually was. Time is the killjoy to false prophecy. Anyone grounded in the word could not ever believe this nonsense. Evil would only be dealt with by Jesus when he returns, this shows how untrained in the Bible these gifted men really are.

After Orlando, Florida, city officials voted in 1998 to fly rainbow flags from city lampposts during the annual Gay Days event at Disney World, Robertson issued the city a warning: “I don’t think I’d be waving those flags in God’s face if I were you. … [A] condition like this will bring about the destruction of your nation. It’ll bring about terrorist bombs, it’ll bring earthquakes, tornadoes and possibly a meteor.”

Robertson would represent God as ready to judge the many because of the few at the drop of a hat.

Robertson: “[I]f I heard the Lord right about 2006, the coasts of America will be lashed by storms”

From the May 8 edition of the Christian Broadcasting Network’s The 700 Club:

Troy Day: Setting aside Robertson’s rants for the moment, I still think it’s accurate to understand that God will, is and has been judging America for its choices and sins as a nation. My opinion generally of Billy Graham notwithstanding (a liberalizing compromised with Catholicism, an ecumenist) I think his statement about judgment is right: “If God doesn’t judge America for her sins, He’ll have to apologize to Sodom and Gomorrah”.

Being part of political campaigns!!! It is not solid proof for practicing kingdom now. It’s solid proof for standing up to the socialist liberal agenda that wants to change fundamental America taking away our freedoms. Solid proof would be actual videos of the Robertson’s, other than articles or interviews and opinions with accusations. You and Dan Irving are wrong. Your wrong not that CBN is or is not Kingdom Now, but your wrong because your statements and language are clearly not be based within the principles of the Fruit of the Spirit. But is clearly based in your own human intellect, flesh and possible pride ect. Without any spiritual discernment and divine wisdom. That’s being blunt, but I feel in my heart that needs to be said. Whether your pre or post millennium or pre or post trib, does not matter in the grand scheme of things so to speak . This is coming from my spirtual heart and I can only pray for the conviction of the Holy Spirit.

Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Not only part of compaign. Pat run for president in 1988 against Bob Dole and George H. W. Bush Along with his many and persistent Kingdom dominion statements this is more than sufficient proof of his reconstructionalist theology

After his unsuccessful presidential campaign, Robertson started the Christian Coalition, a 1.7 million member Christian right organization that campaigned mostly for conservative candidates.[4] It was sued by the Federal Election Commission “for coordinating its activities with Republican candidates for office in 1990, 1992 and 1994 and failing to report its expenditures”.

In 1994, the Coalition was fined for “improperly [aiding] then Representative Newt Gingrich (R-GA) and Oliver North, who was then the Republican Senate nominee in Virginia.” Robertson left the Coalition in 2001.

(AERDO, as an aside, is an umbrella group for dominionist “charities” including multiple Assemblies of God fronts and Pat Robertson’s “Operation Blessing”.)

Troy Day: Once again you bring up a good issue. To Ira Huth I would say: No one is advocating that Christians not be involved in being salt and light in the marketplace. Whether we are discussing social ideas or their political implications the light of God’s Word and what goodness is always needs to be shined on these things. There is nothing wrong with the Christian voice being involved in civics and government or any other facet of society. What IS wrong, and what Troy is pointing out, is when Christians go from being a VOICE in the world to trying to take it over. I’m not saying that it wouldn’t be great to have a truly Christian president. What I am saying is that a Christian who endeavors to be a witness and possibly a potential leader won’t get very far if he’s not really led of God’s Spirit. If, instead, he’s led by a faulty theology (which, in this case, flatly denies the literal coming of Jesus back to earth and replaces that with a “Christianized” society where Christian rule). The preceding, btw, was exactly how the Roman Catholic Church was set up. Same premise, same process. From the inception of the Pope as the “Pontifex Maximus” (originally a Roman title) the Church reigned for a thousand years and called THAT “the Millennium” which the original Chiliasts held only for a literal reign of Christ.
The Moral Majority, as such, wasn’t a bad idea in and of itself. There needed to be such a voice in politics in the vacuous ’80’s (and even more so in our present “radicalist” society). Jerry Falwell was the other contributor to that movement but he went beyond even Robertson by including within that body’s ranks such groups as the Mormons and the Unification Church of Sun Myung Moon (Moonies). At that point the spillage of problematic corruption and errancy went into the church as it sided with overtly cultic groups which the unwary and ignorant assumed were also Christian. It became a debacle both for Conservative Christians as well as politically.
The other problem with Kingdom Now/Dominion theology is that, like Positive Confessionism and the offshoots of the Latter Rain, it ASSUMES too much. The New Apostolic Movement is also of the same vein. At the end of the day such theologies (and really bad practice) give a black eye to the Church in the eyes of the world. It was bad enough what Cessationism did to the Church for something like 400 years at least. What’s even worse is that a lot of what passes for “Charismatic” and “Pentecostal” in the most popular circles these days is completely devoid of real power and all assumption. Take popular fads like the “Hundredfold” teaching in the ’90’s (which I well remember since a good Assembly of God pastor I know fell sucker to it). This is why the fruit, the outworking of, bad theology will ultimately backfire on the Church in a real and damaging way. There WILL come a day when the kingdoms of the world will become the Kingdom of God and of His Christ reigning on the throne in Jerusalem. Today is not that day. Right now we must still “suffer a little while” until the measure of that is filled up.

But wait Walter Polasik There seems to be more

Tele-Evangellst Pat Robertson (700 Club) poses on the cover of Time Magazine (Presidential Candidate 2008), and gives his Masonic pose (the ‘Lion’s Paw”) that refers to his secret society status and to show the world, subliminally, that he is part of the Cult of Aton (Zion). Time Magazine carried this image as Robertson was running for the US presidency.

MY SPIRIT IS STILL GRIEVED CONCERNING IN THE MANNER OF CRITICISM WITH THE LACK OF THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT. AND THE LACK OF CONCERN FOR HIS SOUL.
IF WE ARE TO LOVE THE SINNER AND HATE THE SIN, HOW MUCH MORE SHOULD WE LOVE AND HATE IN THE CHURCH. IS THAT THE WILL OF OUR FATHER.
I WILL NOT DIE IN THIS LIFE AND BE JUDGE UNRIGHTEOUSLY BECAUSE I WAS ACTING MORE LIKE THE WORLD AND LESS LIKE CHRIST WITH EACH OTHER . LET’S CORRECT IN LOVE AND IN PRAYER. DOING THE BEST WE CAN AND LEAVE THE REST UP TO GOD.
I DON’T FOLLOW ANY ONE MINISTRY AND OR PUT THEM OR ANYONE ON A PEDESTAL.
THERE IS SOMETHING IN MY SPIRIT FILLED HEART THAT IS STILL VERY TROUBLING TO ME WITH NOT JUST THIS ISSUE, BUT ALSO A FEW OTHER ISSUES WITHIN THIS GROUP. I CAN’T TOTALY COMPLETELY PUT MY FINGER ON IT, BUT MY HEART IS STILL VERY MUCH TROUBLED.
THERE IS NOT A DAY, A HOUR. OR MINUTE THAT GOES BY THAT I’M NOT FOCUSING ON MY HEART AND MOTIVES BEING LINED UP WITH GOD. BECAUSE I LOVE HIM AND WANT TO BE IN HIS WILL.

bro Ira Huth who is ROBINSON and what is his theology?

I was under the impression we were discussing Pat Robertson of CBN who stated in an interview in the BUFFALO NEWS his theology that “The Church is moving from a millennial viewpoint to a kingdom-now philosophy”.

He then wrote the book The Secret Kingdom in which he challenged the
Christians of America to develop a kingdom-now mentality

One of the main reasons that the networking Pentecostals and Charismatics have jumped on board with the dominionists is that many of them do not define their theology. Too many, when asked why they support a position, will answer “I feel that it is true”. Unfortunately too often experience stands as judge over Scripture.

According to a Report to the General Presbytery by the Doctrinal Purity Committee, (Included in The Kingdom Now Report) “The position of Kingdom Now advocates concerning the authority of Scripture makes it possible for them to defend any position they may ever want to adopt. It
completely disregards the teaching of Scripture that we are to prove all things and hold fast to that which is good (I Thess. 5:21). It completely contradicts the position of the Assemblies of God that “the Scriptures. . .are the infallible, authoritative rule of faith and conduct (2 Timothy 3:15-17; I Thess. 2:13; 2 Peter 1:21).”

Ira Huth: I read and re-posted that article. It’s dynamite and something I’ve been saying for a very, very long time. The nature of Liberalism has changed. The New Left is so much more radical and will be so much more deadly. We may be looking at, from a historical perspective, the formation of a “machine” similar in scope and strength to what was formed in the ’30’s in Weimar, Germany or in the 20’s in St. Petersburg (which eventually became Leningrad). Only the breadth of this machine will not be national only, but Global in scope. It will encompass everything and banish freedom of thought and philosophy forever. Once it uses the technology it has to force people to abide by its dictates and laws, the concept of “freedom” will have been re-interpreted and therefore, finished. People are jumping up and down because Trump is in office not realizing who has the greater power. I always ask a simple question: If Conservatives are in office, can they roll back the MORAL policies the Left has put in place? Gay Marriage? Roe v. Wade? Not happening. Why? “The powers that be” are not just those currently in office. By influence those powers are much greater than the “officially recognized” ones. Those are the powers that have fueled and shaped the world we now live in. It took time but gradualism was on their side. The eroded the foundations of uprightness in society. What does Scripture say? “If the foundations be destroyed, what will the righteous do?” (Ps. 11:3). Indeed.

it aint just Pat of course This has been long ongoing just to top up around the 2016 elections

as discussed with Peter Vandever iHOP Kansas moved moved to post-Mil to assume a NAR kingdom-now position and backed Ted Cruz who has deep lifelong family ties with kingdom-now churches

Wagner endorsed Trump and many kingdom-now preachers backed Trump afterwords

M Brown decided to write a book how he will fight the antiChrist – a natural finish of the political processes described above

WELL the problem here is not Pat – he is just the voice of all this in modern day Charismata Wagner took kingdom-now NAR straight from latin american Liberation Theology though Gutierrez’s book A Theology of Liberation was truly designed by the KGB to mess with the western evangelical mind and impose atheistic socialism Just think about all this Jesse Morrell
