The headteacher of Heavers Farm Primary School in South London suspended two 10-year-old Christian students after one of them asked for permission not to participate in an LGBT lesson during “Gay Pride Month.”

The headteacher, Susan Papas, who obliged schoolchildren to participate in a “Gay Pride” parade last year, told the two children, who are both of African descent, they are “a disappointment to the school,” Christian Concern reported Monday.

After class, Mr. Smith allegedly accused Farrell of using “homophobic language” and saying, “LGBT sucks and LGBT’s dumb,” which the child categorically denies.

Farrell, a Catholic, was sitting with his classmate Kaysey Francis, a Pentecostal Christian, and told another teacher he did not “accept LGBT” because of his religion.

The teacher reportedly asked the two children, “Do you want LGBT people to die?” “We said no,” Farrell replied, but added that if they went back to their countries, they would be punished for being gay.

The teacher asked Farrell where he was from and the boy responded that he was of “African Jamaican” heritage, and there “everybody is Christian and Catholic, so they don’t accept LGBT.”

Later, head teacher Papas reportedly called in the two children and shouted at them: “How dare you? You are a disappointment to the school.”

Ms. Papas, whose daughter Attie is a lesbian and the School Manager, next put the children in separate rooms and scolded Kaysey: “How dare you say that you want to kill LGBT people?”

Kaysey replied: “I didn’t say kill.” Ms. Papas then shouted at her and said, “Yes, you did, and don’t lie,” later sending the girl to detention from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. The head teacher later suspended both Kaysey and Farrell from school for five days.

The Bible remains a holy book because it maps humanity’s journey with God, and not the other way around. Because it maps our journey with God, it maps our evolving understanding of how the Holy works in this world. Humanity has moved from seeing God as a harsh judge and lawmaker to a seeing God as full of grace, mercy and love.

There’s an implication in Romans 1:26 that lesbianism is even worse than male homosexuality. Notice the phrase “even their women.” The text seems to suggest that it is more common for men to engage in sexual depravity, and when women begin to do it, that is a sign things are getting really bad.

When women commit unnatural sexual acts, then the degree of immorality has truly become shameful. Lesbianism is evidence of people being given over to “the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another” (Romans 1:24).

“no new textual, archeological, sociological, anthropological or philological discoveries have been made in the last fifty years that would cause us to read any of these biblical texts differently. Put another way, it is not that we have gained some new insights into what the biblical text means based on the study of the Hebrew and Greek texts. Instead, people’s interaction with the LGBT community has caused them to understand the biblical text differently.”

Simply stated, if not for the sexual revolution, no one would be reexamining what the Scriptures state about God’s intention for His creation. No one would be wondering if two men or two women could “marry” or if a husband could also be a wife. No one would be doubting that the Lord made men for women and women for men and that any deviation from that pattern was contrary to His design and intent.

At the end of the day, as a biblical scholar, a lover of Jesus, and a lover of people, it was impossible for me to accept pro gay arguments. The Word is just too clear on this, and without some kind of emotional or social or other pressure to reconsider what Scripture states, no one would deny this.

We’re dealing with redefining the very meaning of marriage and claiming that a behavior that is plainly condemned in the Old and New Testaments — I’m talking about same-sex cohabitation — is now blessed by God.

As I just wrote prior There’s an implication in Romans 1:26 that lesbianism is even worse than male homosexuality. Notice the phrase “even their women.” The text seems to suggest that it is more common for men to engage in sexual depravity, and when women begin to do it, that is a sign things are getting really bad.

THEN just based on Rom 1 we have a number of related scriptures NOT just ONE that a strongly anti gay in the NT

Jude 1:7 In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire.

    1 TIM 8:10
for the sexually immoral, for those practicing homosexuality, for slave traders and liars and perjurers—and for whatever else is contrary to the sound doctrine

    Mark 10:9
Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.”

1 COR 7:2 But since sexual immorality is occurring, each man should have sexual relations with his own wife, and each woman with her own husband.

1 Cor 6:9 LEV 18:22; 20:13 ARE a STRONG STRONG implication against lesbianism

    t

Or do you not know that wrongdoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men

“‘Do not have sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman; that is detestable.

‘If a man has sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They are to be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads.

“‘Do not have sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman; that is detestable.

Troy Day I think it’s a stretch to suggest that the word even (their women) is in someway suggestion it’s worse. The Greek for even in this verse only means not only… but also
      both… and
as… so. One is no worse than the other it is all a abomination.

The Lord is going to destroy the present world at his Coming. That includes the present governments of the US and the Israel of this fallen world. It’s going to happen soon and will catch even most Christians as did the Flood of Noah.

Troy Day the Lord showed me in a dream just before the culture wars began that he will destroy the US Federal Government in order to protect his people. Very much as he destroyed Sodom.

We as Christians have reached a place where we can no longer remain quiet about the evil sin that is taking over our country. It is time that we take a stand on God’s Word and wave the blood stained banner of Jesus Christ. God loves these people just as much as he loves anyone else but He does not love their sin.

    • James Michael Sanders

Steve Townsend I do agree, but, I would add we should have never been silent (obviously not all of us.)
We really can’t blame Satan, political parties, and so on, for not being the Light in America. That’s our calling. Yet we can’t change the past regardless if it was great or not. But we can change today and tomorrow and share Jesus again with all men. Just as you stated brother!

James Michael Sanders how about the church is BEING silenced

    • James Michael Sanders

Troy Day the church has never been silenced brother. Men may have chosen to be silent due to outside pressures. But we have a voice until we are called home.

    • James Michael Sanders

Troy Day brother all I can say is obviously you’re misunderstanding my reply.

I’m fully aware as you are that Satan/demons are working in and through men. Through political parties and so on. They’ve always done this since the beginning.

But NO MAN has ever silenced me and never will. I’m part of His church.

They may try, they may make it hard and even illegal. They may beat us and arrest us and threaten us with death. But it’s our choice to go right back out there and obey God instead of Man as the early church stated.
