Civil disobedience is also allowed when the government has overstepped it’s bounds.

Jesus went into the temple courts and drove out people and cattle with a whip.
Not only thar he overturned tables and threw money down.. Wasn’t that an act of disobedience to the govt laws?
If you do that today immediately the police arrest you and put you in custody..
The humble lamb was also a fierce lion..
      I concur with you Neil…
Is fighting for your rights an act of disobedience?
.I love a friend in this group who once told me that I have an askew theology..

Jesus did not break the law in order to throw the moneychangers out of the temple. They (and the chief priests) were breaking the law and the mercy of God by not allowing the Gentiles to worship in peace. Over the decades the exchange market moved from down in the Kidron valley up into the temple – directly inside the court of the Gentiles.

Not to mention they were charging exorbitant amounts to the foreign visitors to the temple. That is why Jesus quoted the scripture he did showing the heart of God: “my house shall be at house of prayer for all nations, but you have made it into a den of thieves.“

Troy Day Until a population reaches 70% Wuhan Virus infection level it will not be eradicated. By allowing people out in the sunlight it kills it; by keeping them stuck inside it keeps it going. This globalist agenda is brainwashing government officials to collapse the world economy.

      The CCP must pay!

  • Gerardo de Dominicis

The primitive church was formed and grew in the middle of a tyrannical and violent empire with the worst people in the government as emperors (Caligula, Nero, Trajano), senators, etc. Behaviors like ritual prostitution, paedofilia, murders, etc was common and even legal, there’s wasn’t religious freedom and Christians were persecuted and treated as criminals, even so the Apostle Paul wrote: “Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.”
    ‭‭Romans‬ ‭13:1‬ ‭KJV‬‬
