I cannot find a scripture in the bible that states God has forgiven your future sins, can someone help me out ??

We are saved by Grace through faith, and an expression of our faith in Jesus is that we repent and turn from our sin. James said “show me your faith without works and I’ll show you my faith by my works”
We are not saved by our works, however the grace of God empowers us to do the works of faith and an example of that is conducting ourselves in a way that doesn’t lead us to sin and also leads others to Jesus.

Jesus showed grace to the woman in adultery by forgiving her, but also instructed her “go away and sin no more” fare to say that she was saved from death and he’ll and no doubt repented, what was left is that she conduct herself in a manner worthy of the calling that God had given her in Christ.

Repentance comes before baptism. For no one can say that Jesus is Lord but by the Holy Ghost ( corinthians 12:3) and we must first repent in order to receive the Holy Ghost

MR. Page..initial salvation comes AFTER true repentence. With our mouth we confess that JESUS is Lord and are only means of salvation and with the heart we believe this unto salvation. How do we know we need a Saviour?? We are convicted of our sinfulness and want to turn from our wicked sin nature(repentence) by the drawing of the Holy Spirit, We ,believe,repent,trust in the blood of JESUS to take away our sin and then we are born again by the power of GOD (The Holy Spirit).

If you believe that God paid for a specific amount of sins that he foreknows……(which I dont). The atonement covers every sin but isnt activated until the new birth and confession. Thats why if any sins we have an advocate with the father. Its an ongoing process.

Heb 10:10 does not refer to any future sins. It simple reads that Christ offered his body only at one time for all men as sinners in order that those forgiven (“we”; faith and repentance assumed) would be set apart, to serve God cp. 9:24-28).
v.14: Again, future sins are not being forgiven; there is nothing in the text re: future sins. It reads, emphasizing the one offering, men are made *perfect* (“a one-time event with a continuing result”), that is, complete fit for God’s purposes, as they are being continually sanctified (or, purified), progressing in further holiness.
v.18: All that is stated here is simply that no further sacrifice is necessary for sins already forgiven. However, the reference gives no indication that future sins are being contemplated.
From a logical standpoint, let me just say:
(a) For sins to be forgiven they must be committed in order to incur guilt. Since future sins are not committed, no guilt is incurred by them.
(b) Christ died for actual sins committed, not potential sins. That one may possibly commit sins in the future only allows for the possibility of those sins being forgiven.
(c) Which brings us further to the point that only sins repented of are forgiven. Since future sins are not only not committed and incur no guilt, repentance is unnecessary.

Colossians 2:13-14 reads as follows, When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your sinful nature, God made you alive with Christ. The Greek word translated all in this passage is pas. It means each, every, any, all, the whole, all things, everything. This would seem to support the claim that all sins past present and future were forgiven at the cross.

The teaching that all of our sins are forgiven, past, present and future is pure Calvinism. 1 John 1:9 lets us know that future forgiveness is based on future confession of sin. We must continue to “walk in the light as He is in the light” if we want the blood of Jesus Christ to cleanse us from our sins.

It’s not possible to not sin, only Jesus did and could do that. So the question are future sins forgiven seems to imply that if you sin after salvation you can lose salvation. You will sin after, but should so with decreasingly frequency and increasing guilt, but be assured salvation is assured, assuming you have it. Also assume as you continue to sin, if it isn’t in decreasingly frequency and increasing guilt, you likely are deceived about your having salvation so dont.

in the adamic nature, Irrespective of the good thing you do you are still a sinner in the eyes of God. in the nature of Christ (“Born again experience,”) irrespective of the evil you do, you are still righteous in the eyes of God. it’s more of a nature than an act. Note: committing an act of evil or good does not necessarily make one good or evil. God is much interested in our “nature of being” than our “act of being.” On this note our future sins will be forgiven. See Romans 5:12-18.

Jesus has paid the debt owed to the law of sin and death for sin, so Jesus is the one who paid the price for sin on the cross. It is wrong to say that Jesus forgave your sins up to the time you got saved, but after that it is up to you to have them atoned for. That would be saying that you were forgiven by grace for all the dastardly horrible things you did–you were forgiven in an instant because of your faith in the finished work of Christ. SOME DAY ISRAEL, AS A NATION, WILL COME INTO THIS NEW COVENANT.
Now, they are living under the burden of having rejected the Messiah who brought in the covenant. Of course, many Jews, one by one, for the last two thousand years, have been coming to the Messiah to live under this new covenant, but they have yet to come en masse. Perhaps you, by natural human bloodline, were Jewish in origin and you have come to believe on Christ as the Messiah. This is your covenant. And someday the nation will come. Particularly, it will happen as the end of Romans 11 describes it, it says, “Thus all Israel shall be saved.” That is what eventually awaits Israel.
THREE TERMS TO THIS COVENANT
There are three terms to this covenant, which are laid out gloriously in this passage. The first of these is the forgiveness of sins, found at the end of Jeremiah 31:34. “For I will forgive their iniquity and their sin I will remember no more.” Forgiveness of sins is part of the new covenant. For many believers, the forgiveness of sins is really all they know of when they hear of the new covenant. These recall easily that “this cup is the new covenant in My blood, which is shed for you,” and yet forgiveness is only one part of the covenant.
Not only do we see forgiveness of sins in this new covenant, but we must note the second term of the agreement: a personal relationship with God. “No more shall every man teach his neighbor and every man his brother saying, know the Lord, for they shall all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them” (verse 34). The door for the intimate opportunity to get acquainted with God is opened under the provisions of the new covenant.
Take special note of this third provision of the new covenant: the internal working of God, enabling His people for Godly living from the inside out. “But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the LORD: I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their hearts” (verse 33).
THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE COVENANTS IS STRIKING.
In the old covenant of the law, the message was inanimate. There was no life in it. It was a message of words carved in stone, external to man; it was an outside, inanimate message. The old covenant describes what life should look like, but it neither provides nor can it provide life to those who are under its terms. God intends for life to be godly, to be holy, to be righteous. And the law demands it, describing life as it should be. But it never offers life.

When Jesus died on the cross he paid the penalty for our sins. For EVERYONES sins.

Ron Sell I totally get that. And we are only saved through Jesus Christ. My understanding and belief on the doctrine of repentance is the changing of ones desires and heart, the Greek or Hebrew translations better convey that. The asking of repentance is only important as it helps us recognize our misdeeds and make a more conscious effort to make that change.
The important thing in that moment would be if you had been turning closer and closer to God and you had a sincere change of heart.

Interestingly, the hardest thing for legalists to accept is that salvation comes through faith in Christ alone, apart from human effort. This is not good news (the gospel) to a legalist. Legalists do not believe that faith alone is good enough.

When legalists accuse you of believing in that “once saved always saved stuff,” remind them it is either once saved always saved or it is once saved always unsure, and the latter is “not of faith.” (Gal. 3:12, Rom. 14:23) Their statement “You think you can live like the devil and still be saved” is very telling, because it reveals what they are trusting in to get them into heaven. It shows that they are trusting in the lives they live “for” Jesus to get them through His pearly gates. That’s works, ladies and gentlemen; pure, unadulterated, and unmitigated works! Jesus described the end of these “Christian ministers” who subscribe to that doctrine of salvation, stating: “Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wondrous works? And I will profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” (Matt. 7:22-23) Did you notice these are “Christian” ministers who preached and acted in the name of Jesus? No doubt these ministers will be totally shocked to hear Jesus say He never knew them and will not admit them in His kingdom. But notice the first thing out of their mouths is the doctrine they preached, believed, and based their salvation on. Works! Works! Works! “Lord, Lord, haven’t I…, and haven’t I …., and haven’t I ….?” These are “Christian ministers” who are pleading with Christ for entrance into His kingdom based on their works. (Tit. 3:5, Matt. 7:22-23) Notice that their wonderful “works” are their first line of defense against the fires of hell! All their objections as to why Christ should allow them into His kingdom revolve around their “wondrous works.” Where did these Christian ministers get this works doctrine? Marvel not for: Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light; Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as ministers of righteousness whose end shall be according to their works [of the law]. For by the works of the law shall no flesh living be justified. (2 Cor. 11:14, Gal. 2:16)

The sins of the saints committed after regeneration are paid sins. That is a fact regardless of however and whatever people wanna label it. The Atonement was done once and for all time for all of the elect and the eternal status of them all are preserved forever.
From God’s eternal vantage point, we who are In Christ, are forever perfect, sinless and cannot be otherwise, even if our sins remained unconfessed.

4 Bible passages used as threats of conditional salvation:-

In context Paul has been focusing in Chapters 9 and 10 on the kingdom temporarily being taken from Israel; but will one day experience salvation (Rom 11:11-26).
As a result Gentiles experience God’s richness, while Israel temporarily loses it.
Paul rebukes Gentiles for presumptious boasting, and today Gentile Christians are falling away from Paul’s teachings. One day God will restore Israel as His channel of blessing starting with 144,000 believing Jewish evangelists. One day Gentiles will be ‘cut off’ from being in the centre of God’s plans on earth.
The olive tree does not mean ‘being saved’ but ‘being a channel of blessing’ to the world.
This can also apply to individual as well (John 15:6), losing the blessing of future rewards.
Heb 3:14 also teaches this, and it has nothing to do with losing or gaining eternal heaven.

The sin in question is the destruction of God’s temple, the local assembly of believers, not the individual Christian. 1 Cor 3:5-8 Paul, Apollos and Peter had been building up local assemblies, but divisions were affecting the building up of local assemblies.
1 Cor 3:9-10 Fights and lawsuits among Christians were disrupting the unity of believers and threatening the destruction of the body of local believers (the temple). The temple in 3:16 in context is the body of believers, whereas later in 6:19 the temple is individual believers.
1 Cor 3:17 refers back to verse 15 where the works of the believer will be ‘burned up’ and he will ‘suffer loss’ of reward as in 2 John 8.
The believer himself will still be saved (1 Cor 3:15).

Many people fear they have lost salvation, but the context is false teachers saying we have salvation by grace plus law works, and
Paul warns them about falling from a grace way of life and returning to law as a way of life.
Grace (gr charis) is not used in the NT for the ‘state of salvation’, but for the method of obtaining salvation. To fall from grace is to fall into law, not into damnation.

V10 Paul endures for the elect already saved and justified, so they can obtain salvation and eternal honour and rewards co-reigning with Christ in the final destiny of man in heaven.
V12 To ‘deny’ Jesus is the opposite of ‘enduring’ and failing to persevere in faith to the end. As a result Jesus will deny us rewards in heaven, not deny believers there place in heaven. Nothing in the context or elsewhere in NT does ‘deny’ mean a son’s place in heaven.
‘We’ and ‘us’ in V12 refer to regenerate believers who may and can deny Christ, similar to the warning in Matt 10:33 where the context refers to regenerate believers too.
If the opposite of enduring is to deny Jesus, then the opposite of reigning with Jesus is that He will deny us the rewards and privilege of reigning with Him as co-heirs in millennium.
V13 ‘If we are faithless, He remains faithful; He cannot deny Himself.’
Christ will deny rewards to the unfaithful who have lost their faith, but not deny salvation.
It is impossible for God to deny Himself that He made a Promise Covenant with Himself, not Abraham who was asleep, for our faith; and also with Christ as we are in Christ, Christ in us.

Jeanette Elizondo sure. Repentance is the mark of a true Christian. Show me an unrepentant Christian and I’ll show you a liar who had mocked God and has never been born again. We’re not talking about Christians who struggle with sin, but sinners who have never experienced the new birth. In scripture we don’t see the categories of Backslidden and Sanctified Christians, but rather wheat and tares. Christians and False professors of Christ who merely say “Lord,Lord.”

Christ paid for our sins, but we repent an are baptized and receive remission of sins. Why would Peter have spoken about that in Acts 2 if his audience was already forgiven. Believers who sin are to confess their sins and He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Why would John have written that if they were already forgiven before they confessed?

ABSOLUTELY!
No one attains to sinless perfection in this life.
God is sovereign in salvation. When, like we see in Saul on the road to Damascus, God intervenes and transforms us, we are eternally secure. We still struggle (Romans 7) but we are secure (Romans 8).
The question is, are we truly saved or possibly deceived? Many on Judgment Day will discover they were deceived and will hear, “depart from me…”

Read your Bible lads, John says there are sins that lead to death, those obviously aren’t forgiven unless they’re repented of. Then there’s the verses of confessing our sins and the forgiveness and remtaining of sins. Jesus died for all sin that was ever committed but we aren’t forgiven of that sin unless we turn away from it, repent of them and given the. To him on the cross. Sins that don’t lead to death will be dealt with in the purification which occurs in 1 Corinthians where all things are tested by fire and the straw and stubble are burnt up, the gold is purified and those will be saved but by passing through fire, this occurs because no unclean thing may enter into heaven. Don’t depart from the scriptures brother and be careful not to become fixated on a single verse while discarding others, if it doesn’t fit together like a puzzle there’s something wrong.

continued- or as Paul says if salvation was taken away from the Jews and you were grafted on to the tree do not believe it will not be taken away from you as well and too if you gon on sinning after receiving Christ you are putting the sacrifice of Cavalry and your saviour to open shame. If you or any retain your sins do not expect them to be paid for on the cross, all sin was paid for their but those who do not give their sins to the Lord or give up their sinful ways will be responsible for those sins.

It’s funny how we think of natural laws like motion, gravity and mathematics as firm and inflexible. Modern man thinks of moral laws as malleable. Remember though that the 10 commandments were not written on a flimsy rubber band they were written in stone. Remember also that the natural laws were left for clever men to discover . The moral law was written clearly with the finger of God so that men are without excuse. God is the ultimate law giver he is the one who made the laws of nature and mathematics. He is also the One who made the moral law.
This fact is a great equalizer. It makes us all guilty in the eyes of a perfect moral law giver. It makes us all sinners in need of the Savior and God’s forgiving grace. There is none righteous no not one. For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Jesus Christ suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God being put to death in the flesh but made alive by the spirit. Today, You and I stand on level ground at the foot of his cross. Let go of your pride and cry out to him, “God have mercy on me a sinner.”
For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life. Turn from sin and trust the Savior today.

If these men’s sins had already been forgiven, why would Peter have said to repent and be baptized for the forgiveness of their sins.

The idea that all sins were forgiven for each individual when Jesus died, then that leads to universalism.
After one is in Christ, when are His sins forgiven?
For the Christian, there is an ongoing provision for the forgiveness of sin, but it is given with conditions.

Doesn’t this imply that forgiveness occurs AFTER confession of sin. Notice the condition.

Compare with Luke 11:4.

And after Matthew’s passage on the Lord’s prayer, we read:

ALL sin is forgiven when we are “born from above.”
Salvation is life transformation. If anyone be in Christ he/she is a new creation. We put off – once and for all – the old man and put on the new.
The Bible is not an encyclopedia. We cannot demand that we find information in the manner that we desire to see it.
If we press this too far we’ll be judging God and Scripture. We must carefully STUDY. II Tim. 2:15
For example, God is a Triunity but the terms Trinity and Triunity are not found in Scripture.
