don’t know if I can agree with that one. It sounds good. But it doesn’tt point to Christ. His grace, his redeeming power or the witness of the Holy Spirit. Are you going to preach your experience or the written word of God. And finally what price? What do you have in and of yourself that is so significant to give or lose in the light of that heavenly city.
It is true enough though you can’t preach with conviction if you don’t have any.

I can agree in part. It’s the life behind the man and the sermon that adds weight . Credibility is important. Two nen can give the same sermon word for word it won’t be the same or have the same effect.
That being said the exchange of your life for the life of Christ. His life and the ministry of the Holy Spirit is far and above any real exchange of value. So I say “what price?” As if a man’s efforts are in any measure worthy.
“But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away:
How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious?
For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory.”
– 2 Corinthians 3:7-9
